The drip hole is also perfect for making emulsions like mayonnaise; it dispenses the perfect amount of oil to emulsify, and you don't need to stop the chopper, or even open the lid! The materials also feel quite solid. Our last chopper pretty much just fell apart, and there's something about this one that feels very sturdy. Will this work?** A: I have used it to chop apples, nuts, dates, and figs, put on chop and pulse until desired consistency.
