CD Slot Car Mount Holder Cradle, Car Mount for iPhone 7/6, Samsung Galaxy S7/6 and Other Smartphones and GPS Devices - Alightstone （Silver）

This mount actually fits my CD player very well, better than other brands I have tried. It fits snuggly in the slot and the arm is of good quality. I have only been using this a few days and the phone cradle assembly is already starting to flop around whenever I hit a bump in the road. I have a Galaxy S7 and it's really not a huge phone in comparison to others There is no way to tighten the ball joint that holds the phone cradle to the mount.This is a huge design flaw in my opinion. Also the cradle assembly is made out of very cheap materials and does not seem that it will last long before breaking. I plan on cutting off the phone cradle and drilling a hole to install a threaded RAM mount ball into it. Then I will install a better quality cradle using the RAM adaptor.

I only used it twice and within 24 hours the clip that holds my phone in place already broke off. Not worth the 5 bucks I paid for it! What a waste. Already trashed in and only had in for 2 days.

Works PERFECT for my2014 Ford Escape! Holds my phone well, even when it's in the case. It has held up very well, looks nice in my opinion as well. No complaints!

Very fragile, the important constantly moving parts are made of thin fragile plastic while the non moving stationary parts are made of aluminum !Item Broke in less than 2 weeks !!!

My old car has no Bluetooth or auxiliary plug. With cellphone laws, I cannot hold my phone. This holder allows me to use my phone GPS function, receive and make calls in conference mode. Together with power supply via adapter and tape deck adapter for the phone's MP3 function, everything works. The holder comes with several size wedges to create a tight fit in the CD slot. The holder's tang is short enough so you still call use the CD player. Some bouncing is unavoidable with this setup. However it all works and I'm legal.

It broke after less than a week of use..Great metal design and low profile, but the clip that holds the phone is garbage.
