Will the disc adhere? What is the weight limit?** A: The plate hanger won't adhere to the plate if it's sitting up on the ridges. You can get two plate hangers that will fit on either side of the ridges and use picture frame wire between them. 1.25 inch hanger will hold approximately 1/2 pound, and the others will hold a pound per inch of plate hanger. If you send me pictures of your project I'd be happy to help. Thanks--Barb, eBarb **Q: will these hold items with metal surfaces?** A: The manufacturer no longer recommends them for metal surfaces. **Q: I have some bakelite mirrors I want to hang and have been looking for something to use, I'm thinnking these might work well on them, what do you think** A: I cannot say for sure with the mirrors you want to hang, I can only speak from my experience. I hung three different plates, following all instructions to a "T". All three plates fell off the wall within a week. I wanted these discs to work so badly, so now I'll be giving them away at my next garage sale letting people know that they can try them for free, but I can't guarantee they'll work! I do hope you have better luck. **Q: Will they adhere to metal?** A: I'm not sure. I've always attached it to china. I would try it and give it 24 to dry thoroughly before hanging it. The only time I had a problem was in a humid area. It came unglued. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use *by on Reviewed in the United States 24 January 2026* Has held my played on wall without issue for 2 months now. I'm happy with them. Easy to apply. Look at weight it will hold. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Plate Hanger There is! *by on Reviewed in Canada 17 June 2022* I can now hang antique plates without danger of edges getting damaged as I used to with those metal hangers. The instructions are simple and straight forward with fantastic results. Just make sure that the hanger is placed so the plate will hang from a hook where you want it before you smooth out the glue and let it dry. Once dry, the bond is very strong and will support your plate well, but is easily removed by following the instructions. Terrific product! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by on Reviewed in Australia 1 December 2021* Easy to use, versatile, works exactly as I hoped. ## Frequently Bought Together - Flatirons Disc Adhesive Plate Hanger Set (2-3 Inch and 2-4 Inch Hangers) - Flatirons Disc Adhesive Plate Hanger Set (6-2 Inch Hangers) - Invisible English Disc Adhesive Medium Plate Hanger Set (4-3 Inch Hangers) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/354396763-flatirons-disc-adhesive-plate-hanger-set-2-3-inch-2](https://www.desertcart.be/products/354396763-flatirons-disc-adhesive-plate-hanger-set-2-3-inch-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
