I loved the concept! I was so excited about getting this item. The concept would be perfect for my husband and his hired man; who love warm food for lunch. But, here are two problems with this item. The top and bottom storage areas. They both are too small. The container in the bottom wouldn't even fit a warm sandwich or a standard size serving of a casserole. If you have an elementary student with a light appetite, this product is perfect for you. I couldn't even place any of my standard size lunch containers in the bottom. Next, the above container is so small that it wouldn't hold a standard size water bottle. Love the concept....hoping the company will rethink their design and try again. Well made. (Also, I paid for express shipping. I paid $29 to receive it about nine days later.) Great concept. Keep working on it Lava Lunch. You'll get there. I hate returning; but it is un-usable for us.

This item is small as many have stated but it does a great job of keeping food warm. This is perfect for my 5 year old lunches because I can send him to school with something other than a cold sandwich. The food wont be piping hot as some have complained but it will be warm and the container holds a 5x7 food container. If you are looking to engorge yourself at lunch then this item is not for you.

i purchased this for my granddaughter who goes to a school in which she has to bring her lunch, i always hated sending her with cold sandwiches. with this lunch box, you heat up your food, and heat up the heat packs for 2 minutes on each side and then put in the bag. we have picked her up and left over food was still warm 8 hours later. i am writing this review about 2 years after the purchase and the bag did tear a bit from over stuffing most of the time, but we moved the packs into another bag and it is still going

Did not keep food hot, barely kept it warm. We tried chicken nuggets and soup heated in the morning and eaten after 4 hours. Disappointing. I was hoping to have more options to send with my kids to school for lunch. It is a nice lunchbox, but expensive for just a regular PB sandwich.

It works great, except the orange block exploded in my microwave. Is it toxic? How do I clean my microwave so it's safe to use again? There is no contact information for the seller.I loved it until this happened. It smelled like glue and the liquid was white. But I don't want to poison my family. So I need information on what the liquid inside is made of pleaseeee

Purchased for my GF, best gift ever. Allows her to have hot food when she is out working. Keeps the food hot and warm, which will be perfect as winter approaches.

This lunch tote keeps you food worm for several hours, I wish it was bigger thou....I still love it!
