Not sure this would hold up to their durability claim. The lock works well with little effort, but sounds creaky, like it won't last. I also thought it was ruined the first time I accidentally pulled out too much tape. It would not rewind the tape back into the case. After forcing about 8" back in at high speed, the winder spooled up and it's working again. I don't like the plastic belt clip either- plastic, strange shape and angle.
