I've only ever been able to buy it online. This is the best glue for styrofoam aka EPS (Expanded Polystyrene foam) - it won't dissolve it, like some. It's popular for aeromodelling, but it sticks most things to most other things. I've used it with wood. I've even stuck bits of cork and felt to brass and woodwind instruments with it. It can be used as a contact cement - apply to both sides, wait a few mins, then press together - or it can just be used wet, with a bit more setting time. I prefer to do that, because you get time to reposition things. The smell isn't unpleasant, and I think it's reasonably safe for kids to use, if that's an issue. It sets as a clear gum, not hard or brittle.
