* IMPORTANT INFORMATION* Mint Chocolate
This was my first time purchasing Nick's Protein Bars and I ordered the Mint Chocolate. The description states "Refreshing gooey mint flavor encased in a chocolate coating". Mine were NOT gooey but dry and crunchy but not in a nice way.I wrote to Nick's directly to clarify if this was normal and they told me this was NOT how they are meant to be. I sent them the Lot #L2309 15:53/expiration date of 10-20-2023 (which seems way too soon so no wonder). For everyone ordering the mint (and any other flavor for that matter) and then leaving really bad reviews, it would help if you reach out to Nick's directly to check if what you have received is normal. In this case it was not. I am not going to write a bad review based on this one experience. Life is life, things happen!!Overall:1) Yes, they are pricey but these aren't candy bars, they are protein bars so used as a meal replacement or if you are wanting or needing a low carb, sugar free protein boost.2) Amazon pack these in their typical jiffy bags-this is an Amazon issue, not Nick's. Amazon are getting lazy. They use over sized boxes for ridiculous size items like a key chain or a pair of earrings or in this case what should come in a box comes in a thin jiffy bag completely wrecking the actual packaging inside.3) I like the size of them and the packaging and WILL buy from them again. If you get a bad item from your local grocery store, do you stop shopping there? NO. So, give Nick's another chance and if you have an issue CONTACT THEM. It's really easy!! No I am not affiliated nor am I being paid to write this review.NOTE: If you contact Amazon directly and explain you have a bad batch they WILL give you a full refund as they did with me. Amazon WILL work with you if you are insistent and give them all the information and don't back down. I'm so sick of seeing people complaining how they have wasted money and stuck with an item they don't want or is bad or is broken. Say something and don't give up!

All Natural, Tasty, and Nutritious
I like these a lot. I eat them all the time. I work in a fast paced office and I'm using my brain all the time. I find that I need PROTEIN to boost me up when I get Brain Tired. These definitely do the job. And all of the ingredients are natural. I hate the other products that are hiding all sorts of crap behind FDA approved double talk. These don't have anything bad for you. And they taste great.

Taste 'Great' but mailed in an envelope!
The bars were just slightly smashed, not horrible, they did taste very good. However, it would have been nice to have had them packed and shipped in a box instead of an envelope. I still have one more box on the way and I just hope it was packed better. Oh, and it did not help the fact that the person who delivered them just mushed them into my mailbox. If the next box comes smashed it will be the last time I ever order these even though they are tasty. To me, when I spend that much money on something I expect it to arrive in good condition.Update on box #2. They also were mailed in an envelope but unlike the 1st box these were not smashed into my mailbox. Just like the other bars, these are really tasty. I am a bit apprehensive about ordering more just because they are too pricey to run the risk of having them smashed again.So, as far as taste goes, these are fabulous. But, as for how they are shipped in an envelope with the risk of being crushed again, well that is why I think I will not be ordering them again and that is too bad because these are very good, and I would have liked to try some of the other flavors as well.

will not even be close to a chocolate bar as you know it
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have to say, after having had an exceptionally good experience with Nick's Coconut Chocolate Bar, the Triple Chocolate Bar was very disappointing, considering how superior and close to the real thing the coconut bar was, and how difficult it is to create really delicious product, especially candy, with no or low cane sugar, honey, or maple syrup. since I can't return it, and they're only available in boxes of 12, it was really a shame to have to pitch all those uneaten chocolate bars. Even for protein bars, notoriously not the most interesting or tasty but consumed mostly for the protein element, they were shockingly funky and old-tasting. they resembled so many of the failed chocolates I've experimented with, having given up most refined cane sugar, honey, and other sweeteners for the past nearly 40 years. I missed the old Mounds and Almond Joy bars, however, and was heartened when I tried Nick's Coconut Chocolate Bars--not a perfect substitute, but close enough. they were sweet with no radioactive aftertaste of artificial sweetener, with the full coconut goodness present in all its glory. perhaps that was the difference--they were mostly comprised of coconut, with the chocolate covering being only slightly meh, but it wasn't the main show. I just think the Nick's people should keep trying with their other products--it's more expensive, I'm sure, and the demographics of us non-refined sugar eaters are probably too small and niche-y, but that's what online products provide for those of us outliers who have certain dietary restrictions, wide feet, short torsos, or whatever, and can't find what we need in brick and mortar stores. we're willing to pay more, but not for bad substitutes. I even tried Nick's Krispi Cookie Bars, with equally disappointing results. it was like eating chocolate flavored packing material--not "Krispi" at all. I don't recommend either of those products and would not buy them again. ever.Sugar content:no sugar added
