Size:27 mm FIVE HUNDRED (500) - INDUCTION LINER DISCS FOR INDUCTION SEALING APPLICATIONS Induction sealers seal caps equipped with induction liner disks to the top (bunghole) of most non-metallic containers. This lining consists of four layers of material, including one metallic layer over a thermoplastic layer. When the capped container is positioned next to an active induction head, one or more induction coils excite the metallic molecules of the metallic layer. This ultrahigh frequency vibration causes the metal layer to heat up, which in turn melts the thermoplastic layer of the lining causing it to fuse to the top of the container. This seal is hermetic and impermeable to gases. In effect the lining becomes part of the container. From this point on nothing enters or exits the container until the lining is punctured. For this reason induction sealers are used widely thought many industries. The process is extremely simple, and can be accurately repeated time after time. Each Disk is a one piece peelable induction heat seal for PET & PVC containers, backed by a polyester laminated polymer foam. Made in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices, complies with applicable FDA regulations (21 CFR 177.1210) for most food, beverage and pharmaceutical products. Disc Diameter: 27 mm (1.06 inches) Compatibility: Compatible with Polyethylene Terephthalate(PET) & Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) containers. Storage: Our induction liners are stored away from sunlight at temperatures between 60 -85 Deg F (15-30 Deg C) at 30 – 70% humidity.
