Model:Access Point + AC867 Access Point (Kit) EnGenius High-Powered, Long-Range, Ruggedized 3 x 3 Dual-Band Wireless AC1750 Outdoor Access Point, 29 dBm, IP68, Gigabit Port, 802.3af/at PoE(ENH1750EXT) WhiteUnder the AP Mesh mode (in 2.4 GHz), the ENH1750EXT Wireless Outdoor Access Point can be used as a central connection hub for stations or clients that support IEEE 802.11 b/g/n networks. Under this mode, the ENH1750EXT can be configured with the same Mesh SSID and security password in order to associate with other ENH1750EXTs as well as connect with clients under the same SSID and security encryption signatures. The ENH1750EXT supports fast roaming for clients authenticated to a RADIUS server. This means that employees can be constantly connected to the network - whether they are warehouse workers scanning and capturing barcode information, employees on Wi-Fi phone calls while walking to meetings on another part of a corporate campus, healthcare professionals capturing patient information on mobile devices, or security personnel who need uninterrupted video surveillance on a mobile device when they are alerted to and making their way to the location of an incident. The ENH1750 includes a band steering feature which shifts dual band-capable clients to 5 GHz from the 2.4 GHz band, helping to relieve network congestion and maintain optimal data traffic speeds. This means that sensitive applications such as IP camera streams, VoIP (Voice over IP), HD video streaming and large file transfers perform with improved quality and reliability.EnGenius Technologies Wi-Fi 5 Outdoor AC867 5GHz Wireless Access Point/Client Bridge, Long Range, PTP/PTMP, Additional 802.3at PoE Port, IP55, 26dBm with 19dBi Directional Antennas (N-EnStationAC Kit)EnStationAC is a 5 GHz High-Powered, Long-Distance 11AC Wireless Outdoor AP/Client Bridge offering dual-PoE Gigabit ports and a high-gain directional antenna that emits a narrow signal beam for limited interference ensuring stable connectivity, high-bandwidth and 867 Mbps speeds over extremely long distances, extending the network up to 5 miles point-to-point. EnStationAC is engineered with a powerful independent RF interface that offers high-bandwidth and speeds up to 867 Mbps on its dedicated 5 GHz frequency band. This allows the EnStationAC to accommodate 4k Ultra High Definition (UHD) video and heavy multi-application traffic services, extending bandwidth over a wider channel range (80MHz) allowing network managers to fine tune channel usage based on the application. Offering greater flexibility in deployment, the EnStationAC features two Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) 802.3at-compliant Gigabit ports. With its secondary Gigabit PoE-802.3af-compliant port a second device, such as a remote IP surveillance camera or Access Point, can be connected and powered for greater deployment flexibility. These enhanced power options allow the AP/CB and a secondary device to be deployed where power outlets are scarce or unavailable, such as under the eaves of roofs, high atop light poles or in other remote locations. Tethering a series of 2 MP or 5 MP IP surveillance cameras to the EnStationAC's secondary port gives you "eyes on" places you might not otherwise see - no matter how far away, with significantly better results than traditional, non-tethered wireless surveillance setups. EnStationAC features 26 dBm output power and high receive sensitivity, coupled with embedded high-gain directional antennas that emit a narrow signal beam to deliver stable robust connectivity, optimal bandwidth and high speed data rates of 867 Mbps over extremely long distances - up to 5 miles in clear line-of-sight point-to-point deployments.

Dont bother waisting your time
We have installed several of these Engenius 1750 Access Points and plain and simple they are horrible. They are listed as a long range AP, however, they are not. Even with clean line of site, you wont get 500 yards. Furthermore, when there are more than 10 users on 1 SSID, the units crash. Users get failure to connect or invalid password errors and it is very frustrating. We tried everything. Engenius shut down their technical support line due to their products being horrible, so once you discover how bad they are you cant even call anybody for assistance anymore. We have switched to Ubiquiti Unif access points and have had zero issues. They automatically mesh and automatically survey airspace and adjust according to surrounding traffic. Engenius does none of that. Save your time and buy Ubiquiti!

Stay Away!
I purchased 2 of these units for a backyard of a home. Setup was difficult. Interface is not very easy. The reception is awful on all channels from just a few feet away. There is no user error here. Ive setup dozens of others and this unit was the worst. I even called their tech support and their voicemail was full not to mention they dont respond quickly to fix the issues. Overall a failure!

Quality issue and weak signal
Arrived DOA and took company 8 days to reply. Seems like we'll made product, but they did not assemble it correctly. Measured Wi-Fi strength and reach was not impressive for commercial access point. User interface seemed good, but I did not get to deep into the monitoring function before returning it. 8 days to respond would kill business at RV Park.

Two units with same weak spot in the EnGenuis ENH1750EXT
First unit worked good for four years. Got funny in fifth and died. Apparenty the radio receive broadcast part of it.Second unit worked OK for three days and died. This time it seems to be the interface between the radio part and the part that connunicates with the internet.I hired the guy who is our charter school IT guy and handles 53 access points with a total of a thousand computers using that system to make use I didn't screw anything up with either unit. He seems to understand it all, but it's hard for me to break it all down with the information available to me from EnGenius.Emailed EnGenuis Tech Support got one responce only. However it could be they got shutdown with this Covid-19 thing and forgot to tell anyone they were hanging it up.Got a third unit coming to replace the second. Hoping they figured it out and got the Achellies Heel fixed.

The Access Point has great range. Crucial to update the firmware as soon as you buy it.
The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because the antennas were loose even if tightened with a rench. Soon I realized that the antena holders were loose from inside. This AP kept crashing on me on the original firmware, clients were constantly loosing wifi connection and some of the management features weren't functioning properly. After I updated to the latest version it fixed multiple of my complaints and so far it has been working fine last 9 months.

Defective unit
This item was defective....my IT guy had EnGenius guy work on it 30 minutes and he confirmed. Is that why there is no extended warranty offered on this unit like the others?

Powerful Wireless Access Point!
Powerful Wireless Access Point. This thing is pretty amazing. Full bars at 250+ feet (line of site). Can allow up to 8 separate SSID's for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz plus a guest network! And it's FAST! Completely configurable. Allows for band steering, which automatically pushes higher bandwidth traffic (such as video) to the uncrowded 5Ghz band. Was really impressed with what this thing can do. Only thing I was bummed about was I didn't realize there is no DHCP server...it's just and access point.
