It works great with Wink Hub 2 make sure you have updated.
It works great I've included a picture for those of you having problems setting it up on a wink hub 2 so you can select the proper device. Don't use the wink bar code scanner as it never picks up the proper device for me. Set it up manually using the device in the picture. Keep in mind the temperature is going to pick up the wall temperature of it's different from the room temperature or the table or wherever you put it. Use common sense and you'll figure it out. This device is under $30 not a $200 temperature sensor that uses multiple locations and averaging and a bunch of math. Also make sure you have the latest wink update and keep your firmware up to date. If you still have problems call wink. They are awesome tech support. I called them once from home Depot and they told me exactly which product was in the store I was at that would do what I was looking to do.

small, random disconnects
3/22/18Don't see any problems with this sensor, but had some initial connection issues, I did reset and reconnect again with my Wink 2 Hub again, working as advertised now and generates alerts in less than 1 second to my Wink app and as soon as someone walks into the zone my lights are ON in less than 1 second. Its very small and size of 2 quarters, I hope the battery will last at least 12 months. Could not comment on the range yet since its about 3 walls away and only 15-20 feet away from my Wink 2 Hub3/28/18Taking one start after 1 week of use, sensor lost its connection to my Wink2 hub randomly today and required full reset and setup of this sensor again within my wink app, will update this review again ( also just installed 2nd sensor will see how both of them will behave)4/1/18As of today, I have 2 sensors, one just dropped connection again and I cant reconnect it without resetting as before and I'm requesting a replacement; will see if its just one sensor issue or something that drains the battery so fast.4/16Both sensors that I had losing connection randomly every 7-10 days to my wink2 hub that is only 15-20 feet away / 2-3 drywalls away. I did sensor exchange but it's about the same, I guess they are very sensitive to some type of interference, they require full reset after each disconnect - work just fine when connected but its not optimal to reset it few times a month - returning both today

Works Perfectly with Alexa
This works perfectly with Alexa. I suspect many of the poor reviews are because people can't figure it out. You don't need to download the app that it suggests if you are using your Amazon Echo Plus as the hub. It will show up under Smart Home on the Alexa app as a sensor. Then...You select it, choose "create a routine" from the bottom of the screen. Then a new screen comes up and you choose "When this happens" and thenAnother screen comes up and you choose "Device"Then another screen pops up and you will see your sensor. Select it.Then head back to the screen that said "When this happens" and choose "Add action"Then choose "Smart Home"On the next screen choose "Control device"Pick the device that you want the sensor motion to trigger. For example, a light to turn on.From there follow through the prompts to have the light to turn on.Now you have a trigger set up for the motion when it's discovered, but now you need to have a trigger set up for when no motion has been active for X amount of minutes. For example, you want the light to shut off.So you will repeat the process described above and then choose when no action is detected "add action" then "Smart Home" then "Control device" and then pick whatever it is that you want to turn off.Once you understand this, it's easy.It works as a thermometer as well, just say "Alexa, what's the temperature of XYZ Sensor" and she will tell you.

SURPRISINGLY SMALL
This review is also for the Sylvania Lightify Zigbee Motion and Temperature Sensor, but paired to the new Amazon Echo Plus 2nd generation. When I took this device out of the packaging I was taken aback at how small it is. You will be too. This motion sensor and temperature sensor packs a lot of functionality into what may be the smallest housing available for similar devices on the consumer market.I paired mine directly with my new Echo Plus, skipping the normal requirement to pair it with Sylvania's Lightify app. This is limiting in many ways, as the app gives you the ability to adjust the sensitivity of the motion sensor, set schedules and other attributes. All of that is ignored by the Alexa app which, in it's current version, only supports motion starting and stopping, and temperatures above or below a set point. As the Alexa team gains more experience dealing with sensors, I'm hoping this will be expanded. However, for all of that, the discovery process with Alexa couldn't be easier. Using the most current version of the Alexa iOS app, I started the new device discovery process, pulled the tape from the motion sensor's battery box, thereby powering it up, and waiting for discovery to complete. When it does, it reports having found one new device, the motion sensor. I assumed that the temperature sensor had not been found. But when I went to create a new routine, the motion sensor was listed as an available device. Clicking on that, I found I had the choice of creating a routine for either the motion sensor or the temperature sensor. I quickly created routines for testing both and found that while a tad slow in reporting, the routines both worked well.My biggest complaint is with the Alexa routine tool, not the device. Currently, Alexa allows for only a single trigger for a routine. For example, you cannot specify "When motion is detected and it is between 5am and 6am, turn on the kitchen lights." Or "If the temperature is below 55 degrees and it is after 4am, set the thermostat to 70 degrees." Again, over time I hope that this is something Amazon will address. To sum up, for under $30, this combination device is a remarkable value. Whether you pair it with the Lightify app or directly with Alexa (using an Echo Plus) it's a great buy.

Great motion sensor
Purchased to add home automation with Wink. It is very sensitive and quickly send it’s motion detection (or lack thereof) to Wink. It detects cats, dogs and people. It is very easy to install. I use this to automatically turn on my hallway light with motion and it works great. Highly recommend.

Very good sensor, syncs with Wink hub seamlessly
the readings have been accurate, and the motion sensor works perfectly. love this product and its price. I am more likely to buy additional units for other rooms in the house.

Satisfactory entry level smartthings motion Sensor
Successfully connected the motion sensor to my Smart Things hub. Notes:This is the first smart sensor I've attempted to use, so I don't have anything to compare against. I had to specify the device type as "SmartSense Motion Sensor" via Samsung's web gui. (Initially detected as "Thing")Motion detection works fine but the intial temperature was off by 2 degrees, I can set an offset via Smartthings, so this shouldn't be an issue if this persists.Initial battery level was 89%.
