A nice chunky texture with interesting flecks of debris and thread
Wow, this was expensive paper. A nice chunky texture with interesting flecks of debris and thread, not what I expected but cool. The shipping pushed it over the top. But we decided on it and ordered it and it made a beautiful large-scale hangine lantern. Next time I will try the less expensive rice- or shoji- specific paper. The texture is nice but this paper is really very fragile.

Picture is deceiving...
I thought it would be a heavier, thicker paper. It's not. And pretty ordinary paper. Not much "fiber" to speak of. Would not order it again.
