I have fought toe fungus for 15 years and I am finally seeing some improvement! I want to help others who are fighting this with what I have found effective so far. First, I have seen regular doctors, podiatrists and finally a dermatologist who probably provided the best advice. I had been through systemic treatment taking oral medication for 4 months, but found out from my dermatologist that that wasn't a great idea. First, it didn't work. Second, no one did a diagnostic test to find out what fungi I was dealing with. I didn't know there are many and each has a different treatment. My dermatologist took some nail clippings and had them cultured to identify the fungus I was dealing with. So, now I am finally on the right track. I have been using Clotrimazole cream on my nails every night before bed. Every morning I quickly apply FungaZoil. And I also purchased on Amazon a the PediNova III Home Pedicure set so I could grind down the nail to thin the nail both for comfort and to better permit the medications to penetrate. (I don't have time for 30 minute foot baths throughout the week.) Doing this for the past several months has produced a visable difference. This next month I will start systemic treatment (oral medication) in addition to the current treatment and I am hopeful that my 15 year problem will be gone. I hope this helps someone. I spent way too many years pursuing the wrong course of action and wasting a lot of money.

Deceptive advertising?!?: ‘not effective on nails’
Despite the way this product looks and is advertised, the package I received reads (in the small print near the bottom, on back):“This product is not effective on the scalp or nails.”And the side of the box reads:“Treats fungus of the toes and fingers ON SKIN AROUND, ADJACENT TO, and UNDER NAILS (where accessible with applicator brush)” (emphasis/uppercase is mine)It appears that the manufacturer has changed the packaging since I purchased, so it is not such a blatant deception. My box has a picture that looks like someone is about to apply nail polish/solution to a big toe nail and shows pictures of a healthy nail vs an unhealthy/fungal nail. Since the box says it is only for the skin around nails and is not effective on nails, I think the packaging and advertising are deceptive. That said, maybe it will work for you and your nails. Just know that the manufacturer isn’t saying it will (and, in fact, is saying it won’t).

Works a little.
Like because it works better than funginail does. But none of these guys seem to do a complete job of getting rid of the fungus.

Coconut oil breaks down the membranes of the fungus and let the other oils (tea tree & oregano oil) get to the fungus better and
I went to the doctor and he gave me some Fungazoil, it worked on a bit but not enough to rid me of the fungus. I was getting desperate because the fungus was spreading and my nail was separating from the nail bed and lifting. As I was in my state of despair, I remembered a video I saw awhile back about using bleach for a toenail fungus, so I got to thinking "what if I use bleach plus his medicine mixed with some healing oils, what would be the result?"That night I research using bleach to heal foot fungus's and found out nurses use to use a solution of bleach and water to heal staph infections, boils, etc. I made a bleach bath solution instead of straight bleach. I filled a foot basin with warm water and mix two cupfuls of concentrated bleach in it. Then I would soak my feet for 30 minutes, three to four times a week. After I finished the bleach bath I would dry my feet completely and let them dry out about 10 minutes. Then I would paint the homemade concoction of (I mixed Fungazoil, tea tree oil, oregano oil and coconut oil all in the same bottle, no measured amounts I just put as much as I thought I needed in there) on my feet. Coconut oil breaks down the membranes of the fungus and let the other oils (tea tree & oregano oil) get to the fungus better and kill it quicker. Within one week my nails started clearing up, within a month the fungus was completely and utterly gone! Some other things I did were no polish (throw out old polish) and no spa pedicures! I washed my shoes once a week, kept clean socks on and sprayed my sandals with Lysol but you don't have to if you don't want to. Also on the days I didn't soak my feet I still applied the homemade concoction of Fungazoil, tea tree oil, oregano oil and coconut oil on my toenails at least twice (sometimes 3 times) a day. When I knew the fungus was completely gone (you will know) I stop using the solution. My fungus never came back and that was 8 months ago. Try it if you have a fungus, you don't have anything to loose but cruddy toenails. I can go without polish now without any shame!
