Review: As mentioned by a few buyers, it is a little bulky and heavy. The weight is due to the heating/icing gel packs. The wrap fits nicely on me and there are little spaces here and there that cannot fit to my body. I like the fact that there are two pockets for me to insert the gel packs. One for mild effect while the other offers a stronger effect. The strap allows my body to bear part of the weight unlike other type of shoulder wraps that require my already-injured shoulder to bear the weight alone. Having been discharged from a major shoulder surgery just 3 weeks ago, this is especially helpful. After searching extensively, this ActiveWrap is the closest thing to what was used on me in hospital by physiotherapists, since theirs are not available on public shelves.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How big is the arm hole on the small/med and large/xlarge?  Is is adjustable?**
A: Measuring the arm hole would be a useless exercise because the fabric "gives".  The small/medium is supposed to fit a 40" chest or smaller more slightly built individuals.  There is a lot of adjustment offered plus, as I said, the fabric gives somewhat.  I simply made a guess and would have exchanged it if it hadn't worked.  I ordered a small/medium for my granddaughter who is 5'5" and slightly built.

**Q: is it washable**
A: I haven't tried it yet but in my opinion you should totally be able to, it's a neoprene-like material and some nylon. I will probably throw mine right in with the other laundry when it's time. The strap is removable so that can be taken off if desired so as not to get tangled with the clothes. And if you are skeptical of the washing machine, it can definitely be washed by hand.

**Q: can someone send a pic of the inside part of the wrap that show the pockets where the ice pacs go?**
A: I posted some on my review.

**Q: after 20 mins of ice therapy, how long does it take to get completely cold again?**
A: Mine stays cold for a long time. Sometimes I put a wash rag inside the brace because they are very very cold. You are suppose to wait 15 minutes after you take out the pack of the freezer before putting in the sleeves of the brace. It is so cold I can leave them out 15 minutes and put them on for 20 minutes and put them back in the freezer and then put them back on for another 20 minutes. I have seen some of the other reviews about them not staying cold but I have not experienced this. Good Luck.

This wrap is a lifesaver especially if you had rotator cuff surgery. Its perfect, beautiful fit and allows you not to be tethered to ice machine. Highly recommend this product, it came beautifully packaged as well! I promise you will need this , ICE is your best friend after surgery!!!!
