It comes rolled up. Takes a while if you keep it flipped over bottom up to flatten out. I recommend putting something 2-3x it's weight on top of it for a day or so to assist it flattening out.

I had one of these from a few years ago, liked it fine. Bought another recently and it was cracked on the sides. Returned it and bought another and it's cracked also, and part of the tread is messed up from an obvious manufacturing defect (part of the scruffy stuff is just not there). We kept it the second time because it wasn't as obvious and returns are a hassle, but I will never buy one of these again, and you shouldn't either.

We have had a lot of rain in California recently and this door mat has not allowed one drop of water to penetrate to my wood floor. My dog also peed on it because she did not want to go outside in the driving rain (I don't blame her) and none of the pee soaked through at all (thank goodness). The mat is also easy to clean as well. It still looks new after months of wear.

Placed this in my garage at the entry to the house. Arrived rolled up and took several days (with weights stacked on time) to flatten out. Plastic edging is cracking off after only a few months of use. Not great quality. Grass really sticks to it - which is good since it doesn’t get into the house, but it won’t even shake off so I ended up vacuuming it. Not ideal for what I was hoping for.

This door mat is super thin and kind of cheap. It arrives rolled up so it's hard to flatten the ends out. For the same price you can buy a heavy duty, better quality door mat at Target.

This has been a great rug to catch snow/mud from our frequent trips outside for the dogs and it's not abrasive so the dogs can sit on it while they wait to head out too. I will probably get another one for the front door too!

I do like the clean up power. The rough surface cleans off the dirt ect well. My big complaint is that the edges won't lie flat. I have had this item 10 days now and the edges are still rolled up. I fell with this problem. I am 66 yrs old, so I can't risk a fall.
