Summer Waves SFX Skimmer Water Stopper

I bought this as I needed to do some work on my skimmer. I was doubtful it would work, but after trying it, it worked like a charm! I don’t know how well it would hold up long term, but for the 30 mins I had to work on my skimmer it help up and didn’t leak at all.

Product fit on the opening for the skimmer. But it does not stay. You must hold it in place. Not really helpful.

Okay. Sometimes it stays in place other times it doesn’t. Usually it stays long enough to get the filter out and put cover back on - then after cleaning the filter I reposition it before putting the filter back in. It does the job but I wish it’d stay in position better. I would look for something else if buying again
