50 Stories about Stopping Street Harassers Paperback – September 18, 2013

These stories made me laugh, gasp and clench my fists in sister solidarity. Thank you Holly Kearl and the 50 people who stood up to harassers. I feel empowered and will be braver when someone attempts to harass me in a public spaces. I will be sharing this book with every young woman I know.

I have read statistics about street harassment, watched videos about how wrong it is, and been harassed myself - now I have a response. Several, actually. This book gave me plenty of examples to follow and prompted some actionable ideas of my own. I feel empowered. Easy to read, friendly, and worth the time.

Five stars are the only answer to this book, which everybody should read. I feel empowered for my future life as a woman. I will read it again and again and try to make my life easier and the life's of others, especially women. I thank the author for having made my life better!
