IQrouter – IQR3600 Self-Optimizing Router with Dual Band WiFi adapts to Your line for Improved Quality

This is a must have router, it is secure and stable. There is no default password choose your own password and name for your IQ router nice feature.I only have 13.76 Megabit/s download I pay for 15 it never reach the 14 or 15 megabits download and 1.5 or less upload and the bufferbloat is kept at bay, excellent grade A+ to A on the internet speed test. We have rogue and watch Netflex no problem with buffering. Our WiFi has good signal in my home of almost 1700 square also good signal is in my front yard and on patio in the back yard. The internet speed is adequate for me.

Had an old router (circa 2009) that had always served me well enough, but lately even with a 66 mbps max download speed connection I was starting to see buffering and loss of HD while streaming even in off-peak hours and start/stop stuttering and lag in online games. I use a popular speed test website that takes bufferbloat into account, and though my connection speed rated A+ my bufferbloat was D or F. I am technically minded but no coder/modder, so I honestly just wanted an out of box, low-maintenance solution that would fix it. I ordered the IQrouter, it arrived, and within 15 minutes following their super-simple instructions and online menus I had my old router replaced and was through the set-up. Even though the system requires a week or so to fully optimize (must see the pattern of loads to your system and changes to your connection quality over time) I immediately scored an A in bufferbloat and an A+ overall connection score from the same speed test website. Can't really ask for a better outcome than that.

I don't usually write reviews but I've been struggling with my internet connection for years. I don't have any other choice but cable and it is borderline racketeering as the provider doesn't care what happens past the modem it rents. I changed routers a couple of times, went with turbo option etc...but noting changed until I discovered my problem was related to bufferbloat according to the DSLReport test. My grades were below E in all areas. I bought an IQrouter and installed it today, it's been maybe 5 hours. I could notice right away a difference. My lowest grade on DSLReport is A and the router optimization is supposed to end in 8 days. I am already blown away. Great product!

Great router and interface. I use WISP internet so I didn't really notice an improvement. For my situation I prefer the Buffalo DDWRT. Both brands are far superior in terms of reliability and function compared to dlink and netgear units...especially the high end ones

Under ideal conditions this router would be great, in my house I've found that it conflicts with my cable modem. My wife has spent hours with Evenroute tech support, with no real improvement in its operation. Would I have bought this item again? Probably not.

The IQrouter has been an excellent investment for fast speed internet combined with TDS. My son sent me a screenplay for proofing and I downloaded in seconds. Before I would sit and wait for the download. All the photos I upload from my phone to Facebook have been equally fast, where before I would place the phone down and walk away while photos uploaded. The bundle was super simple to set up. I read the instructions first and then sat down to connect and under 30 minutes I was up and running. We have the Smart TV connected to the router and viewing is excellent.It comes in two pieces, a modem and router sold as DSL Bundle. The router has four Ethernet ports. I already had a Slinglink Turbo which allows me wireless adaptability. I don't have to be connected to an actual computer, although you have to be plugged into the computer for the initial setup. All of this does require two wall outlets. No surge protectors. The SlingLink has a stamp advising against this.The bundle is located on a table on the main floor connected by a very long ethernet cable from the TV and an equally long phone line. Hubby connects easily to the internet from his office in the basement, and my office upstairs connects just as well. I can also stream video sitting out on my porch with no buffering.Our family was visiting recently, and each person (5) had tablet/iPad in hand simultaneously. Of course, this is the only way to read the news anymore. No one complained about streaming and one of the people viewed "how to" videos on YouTube with no buffering. We have no regrets in this purchase and I do recommend for DSL.

We purchased the IQrouter for our mountain home in hopes that it would improve our terribly slow (practically useless) internet speed. We had actually give-up on internet and were just using cellular data, and incurring those expensive data charges. What an amazing difference!! The IQrouter comes with both the router and modem for DSL, which is very easily installed. We are now able to stream video (Youtube, Netflix) without any buffering. Websites load with no problems. Multiple users are able to utilize the internet at the same time. We also no longer have problems with needing to be near the router- internet works from anywhere in our home. Shipping is very fast, came in two days. If you are fed up with sloooooowww internet, give the IQrouter a try. You'll be very happy that you did! Great customer service, also!

For the person who wants to improve their speed with DSL, this is a minor investment. This self-optimizing router has really helped me to achieve the speeds the ISP claims. This product will optimize based on the 'issues' the particular ISP has and there really is continuous monitoring and improvement with this product. I highly recommend this product.
