I have three of them: 0ne inch, 1/2 inch and a rigger. I find that the soft brushes, not sable, work better than a stiff brush in washing the graphite into a shape. What is equally important to me is the paper. I use watercolor paper, #140 or Bristol board, any thing that is strong enough so that the paper does not wrinkle or break through with the water. emb **Q: How do they blend with regular graphite pencils? I’m a graphite artist looking to add some color; nothing seems to blend right with them.** A: Regular (dry) graphite should be very compatible with graphitint as they share the same distinctive silvery-gray appearance.
