Length is 400 mm
I didn't actually measure this seat post, but it's longer than the stock post it replaced, so it must be 400 mm. The description lists that as the "width", but that's just crazy. Quality is what you would expect for the price, so I'm happy. I don't remember the exact weight, but it was 20 or 30 grams less than my old aluminum post. The reason for 4 stars instead if 5 is twofold: the seat angle adjustment is finicky (I got it where I want it, but it took a couple of tries) and, the seat post is somewhat flexible. That might actually be a feature because it absorbs a lot of shock (I'm very tall so a lot of the post sticks out of the frame). I got off the bike twice in the first mile if riding because I thought that my seat was loose! I quickly got used to it, so like I said, this might be a feature on a long ride.Final opinion: get this if you need a really long post that is really pretty light (it looks good too!). And pick up some Finish Line carbon fiber assembly gel so that your not tempted to over tighten your seat clamp.

Very pleasantly surprised.
The fit and finish of the seatpost is top notch! I was hesitant to order it because I didn't particularly like the seat adjustment in the post pictured. I was happy to see that the piece I received used the fore/aft bolt configuration like you would see on a Thompson seat post. Please see the pictures I added to the customer gallery. I'll be putting several hundred miles on this post over the next few weeks and will report back any issues.UPDATE: Rode a century using this post on Saturday. What can I say other than it didn't break. Made a few height adjustments and the resin still looks to be in good shape on the post. No deformation or nasty marks. Even got a few compliments from other bike geeks on how nice the post looks. Looking forward to many more miles on this post.

Cheap for a reason.
Broke on the first ride, literally still on my block, as soon as I hit a bump. A loud snap and the metal clamp broke its bond from the carbon fiber tube leaving the seat spinning. I couldn't believe it. It's nowhere near any other stress points (bolts/clamps) all of which were torqued properly anyway. I'm about 175lb, it's a road bike, and only about 4 inches of post are exposed, it didn't cross my mind that it could just let go.Part of the reason name brand parts cost so much is because they're throwing stuff like this away before the consumer ever sees it.

Excellent, with some caveats
Once you get it installed and ride with it, it's an excellent seat post. It's a smooth ride and the post seems to holding up fine. That said, there are a few small issues to be aware of:- The adjustment mechanism is a bit fiddly and a pain to do by yourself.- Watch out for the adjustment range. My seat post angle is 73 degrees and I'm on the absolute last notch. If you're post angle is any smaller than that your seat will be pitched upwards.

JRFOTO Carbon fiber seat post
Love it! At first look I observed good quality, thick wall material and nice carbon fiber weave finish. I have only had one ride with it but it smooths out the ride complementing my carbon fiber fork. And Amazon Prime got it here fast! I love that!

Great post
This seatpost is beautiful and lightweight. It looks great on my bike and the mounting hardware for the saddle is simple and effective. The post itself is long.

This JR Photo carbon seat post is a delight
I am a highly satisfied repeat customer with JR Photo. This wonderful light and very strong carbon seat post because of the inherent comfort allows much higher tire inflation because it absorbs vibration so well.

Great product at a great price
This seemed almost too good to be true - but it's a full-carbon seatpost - actually longer than specified. Lifespan is yet to be determined, but it seems well-built. Seat angle adjustment is easy.
