Great patches, but allow them to air out before use!
I ordered these mouthpiece patches to replace a couple of my old patches on my jazz mouthpieces. They came in quickly and were just the right fit. I didn't have to cut or trim them at all, which was great. The thickness is as they described (.8mm). I also like that they come 16 to a pack. My only feedback is the chemical smell was quite strong. I had to use a patch right away, and the smell/taste was not good at all. I realize that the patches are going to have some scent to them, but since I had to use them right away, it was quite off-putting.I can recommend this product, but before you use them, I would recommend removing them from the package and letting them air out for a few days. This will hopefully eliminate the odors and prep them for your first use.

super happy
I"m very new to the sax and learning as I go. I noticed something like this on the mouthpiece in a lot of the videos I've been watching. I also noticed my teeth were leaving marks on my mouthpiece so I decided to give it a try.Immediately I noticed my tone changed. I was surprised at how much it changed. It smoothed out and went a little flatter. I've got to practice more with it to be on the notes correctly again but I think it's actually easier. I was having difficulty playing flat enough previously so I'm playing more "in tune" with less effort now.I also find it is easier to to correctly seal the top of the mouthpiece so I don't loose air.Of course I can feel a big improvement on the pressure on my teeth. The material is a relatively soft foam so I expect it to breakdown with use. I assume that is why you get 16 of them, not so you can use it on 16 mouthpieces.I'll try to remember to update my review when I discover how durable these are. For the price I think if I get a week of play out of each then I've got my money's worth. For now I'm just really excited about this in general and wish I had started with them instead of waiting over a month.

A Product worth the Money
They are pretty thick and stuck on very nicely. I have not played my sax for a very long time and I had some old spit on the top of the mouth piece but with a little rinse and wash the sticker stuck very nicely . I wished I had bought this when I was in high school because it really helped with either biting on the mouth piece leaving teeth marks or biting on my lip to not bite the south piece. Very good product I recommend.

Worth it, good quality, soft
Every bit worth the quality. If you clean your mouthpiece (I use 1/2 hydrogen peroxide 1/2 water with a splash of mouthwash) before you apply, they will stick will. They are rather soft, so I expect them to need to be replaced at the end of each month probably. It depends on how much you play.I recommend these to anyone who needs them.(As a side note, these make excellent improvised 'rubber feet' if you need something to stop sliding on a hard surface)

Yecch
The sticky doesn't last, and they come off the mouthpiece within two weeks. There's a rubbery, chemical taste to them, and the aftertaste lasts for hours. As a 35-year player, I can say they're the worst mouthpiece cushions I have ever bought.

I this this package will last forever
I put one on my mouthpiece and instantly solved the teeth on the MP problem. No more skull vibration. I've had one on for about 6 weeks and it looks like it should last, a year(?) I don't know but this package is well worth the price. As far as thickness goes, I don't think it matters.

Great quality and price
These things are fantastic. I bought them for a single mouthpiece that had some tooth damage from a previous player but when I felt how cushy they were and how well the non residue adhesive worked, I put them on all my mouthpieces right away. Great product. The actual material is made by 3M I think maybe just the adhesive . But anyway they are terrific

Great Quality
People pay $5 or more for each one of these individually. These were a good quality and last just as long as expensive ones. They all have a rubbery smell but it fades. I recommend this for anyone with bite or embouchure issues.
