Too heavy for wrist
Bulky and much too heavy for a delicate wrist. Not made for an elderly person.

I love it
I already knew heat therapy was effective for me before I got this product. I just used warmed wash clothes or other products that had skin contact.This is so much better for me since it stays on my wrist! I'll type with this thing on all day and it relieves my symptoms tremendously! (again, bear in mind I already knew heat therapy works for me, i don't know if the whole "infrared" makes any difference)It's a lot easier to keep on my arm and type than any other product. The velcro straps can be configured in different shapes, so there is some means of adjustment as to where you want the straps. However they don't go very tight. I'd consider myself lower than average arm size (circumference) for an adult male, and if my hand were much smaller I'm not sure i'd enjoy it as much.

not just a heating pad
First off-> this is not just a heating pad. It cycles through different amounts of heat, basically it appears to be 15minutes on (max heat) followed by 15minutes off. However, if you raise your hand (for example to type on computer keyboard)-> it will not achieve max heat, that is-> to get the benfit of max heat you will need to keep your hand still. This narrative is my experience, not sure how this jives with the manufacturer's description.

Warm and comforting
Nice heating pad for wrist. Straps are a little too big for me, but usable. Small arms would not find this usable.
