I really needed a 100% natural cotton allergen cover that encased the whole mattress, and this was the only option I could find on the market without paying $250+ for organic cotton. I would have greatly preferred organic cotton due to my chemical sensitives. I needed to avoid any synthetic material. This was my best option. Once I opened the package it reeked soooooo bad. Very pungent synthetic smell. I nearly returned it right away, but I decided to try to make it work since there are no other options. I had to wash it twice for the smell to fade, then I let it air out for a week before putting it on my new organic latex mattress.Our mattress is 6" deep, but a standard queen in length. It fits snugly. It might be able to fit a deeper mattress, but there is no problem with excess material. It couldn't be any tighter on the width.Does it actually work? Too soon to judge. Brand new mattress, brand new organic cotton sheets, freshly laundered cotton blankets and bedding, and a freshly deep cleaned bed room make it impossible to judge.

I bought these last summer for my mom's queen size mattress and box spring. They both fit perfectly, like a glove! I'm impressed with their fit and quality, I highly recommend these. My only regret was not buying one for my own mattress and when they were at a lower price point. I didn't experience any odd odors when I took them out of the package as stated by other reviewers, but maybe I just got lucky. Care Tip: Cold water and light detergent, and either line dry or air tumble dry.

Beautiful cotton material. Strong. I washed it and put it on the mattress. It retained its shape and it was easy to apply. Quality product.

Cheapest option for a 9inch cotton cover. Best option for the price.

Wow, did this thing stink when I took it out of the package! I washed it 3 times before giving up and hanging it in the garage for a couple weeks to air out. After another wash,I put it on the futon mattress for which I purchased it. It fits well and the zipper worked smoothly. It took a while, but I am now happy with this purchase.

Fits my 8" futon nicely, yes it was smelly out of the package but after two washes the smell was gone. Very happy with the product and the price.

shrinks in wash if using hot water and hot dryer. duh it's 100%
