Western Lamp set (1 pair) feature Roper Stirrups covered in Hand tooled leather and mounted on oval shaped 3/4" poplar hardwood bases. Each side panel contains a floral carving with oak leaves and acorns along with a basket stamped area and are accented with a 1 1/2" slotted Rope Edge Silver-Plated Concho and 1/2" latigo straps. Purchasing a pair isn't for everyone, but for those with an eye for detail & who would like to have as close to a matching pair as possible for your particular room, this is the way to purchase them. Each leather piece was cut side by side, so the grain structure, tooling & dying properties are virtually identical allowing for maximum uniformity. This would be difficult (if not impossible) to reproduce if the pair were made at different times, from different hides & different dye lots. These lamps feature 3-way brass sockets with brass knobs giving the user the option of selecting any of three lighting levels for various conditions when used with a 3-way light bulb. This lamp is compatible with the new 3-way Compact Flourescent Lightbulbs (CFL) as well to keep your energy bills lower. The CFL bulbs generate much less heat and make this an option when used with rawhide lamp shades. Each lamp measures approximately 11" wide x 8 1/2" deep x 13 1/2" height (not including bulb or shade). Width and Depth measurements are taken at the widest distance on the base.
