We do not like to use toxic sprays either inside or out. This wonderful oil helps us reduce the spider web production around our doors and windows. Mix a few drops of mild liquid dish soap, 6-7 drops of this Now Foods Essential Lemon Oil with one quart of warm water. Stir to mix. Wet a cloth with the solution, wring out, wipe around windows frames and doors. I put several coats on the outside doors and it kept the spider webs off for 3 weeks. I can live with that little upkeep. I am now wiping it anywhere I find a spider web on the inside of the house. This is a log home so I have no idea about staining paint. No poisons, chemicals or bad smells and cheap.
