I haven't yet worn it in any torrential down pours...but IMO yes. It should keep your upper body dry. If you are planning to be out in really wet weather often, I'd also get the rain pants that go with the jacket. **Q: how is this product cleaned?** A: Suggest using soap and warm water. **Q: Does this jacket have inside pockets and is it warm at all?** A: Inside pockets no warm not overly but rain proof lol ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Waterproof *by L***E on September 8, 2026* Great product , fits your own size ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rain gear *by D***B on September 25, 2026* Great buy but is a little weighty ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality, size guide not accurate *by C***S on October 2, 2025* Definitely waterproof but sizing runs large. I typically wear medium and the bib overalls and rain jacket in size medium both are too big for me unless I was wearing extreme layering underneath. I just ordered the small size rain jacket and without layering that fits me. I also have this jacket in medium in a different color. The material is not very breathable but for the price and purpose I don’t care about that. I wanted something to be 100% waterproof. I typically am only working in heavy rain for 1-2 hours max as long periods of heavy rain are not frequent in my work region however I do have to work in the elements at times and need apparel that can hold up. My recommendation is that for slim or fit people you buy one size smaller than your normal size or what the size guide says unless you plan to wear the jacket over layers. The material is somewhat heavy and thick so it will be warm so factor that into how many layers you think you can wear underneath. ## Frequently Bought Together - Helly-Hansen Workwear Mandal Adjustable Waterproof Jackets for Men - Heavy Duty Comfortable PVC-Coated Protective Rain Coat - Helly-Hansen Workwear Mandal Rain Pants for Men Made from Heavy-Duty PVC-Coated Polyester with Comfortable Active Fit - Helly-Hansen Workwear Mandal Waterproof Bib Overalls for Men Made of Durable PVC-Coated Polyester, Breathable and Adjustable --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/35072463-helly-hansen-mandal-men-s-waterproof-pvc-rain-jacket-windproof](https://www.desertcart.be/products/35072463-helly-hansen-mandal-men-s-waterproof-pvc-rain-jacket-windproof) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
