Exactly What I Needed For My Two Camera System
I've been hauling camera gear around for far too many decades. I've had the luggage cases, the brief type cases, the suitcases and the backpacks. I even have a "backpack" on wheels. When my son upgraded to the 9X version of this bag, he gave me his old 7X model. He'd hauled it everywhere for two years on a daily basis and it hardly shows any wear. I hauled it for another six months. However, I like to carry two camera bodies with battery grips and lenses attached in addition to two flashes, a couple of extra lenses and the myriad small accessories needed.I looked at a lot of two camera bags and this 10X model was the only one that'd do the job for me. It easily holds everything I mentioned above and more. Amazingly, it is still all easy to access. At the worst, I have to remove a camera to reach under it to get a spare lens. I can do that by touch very easily. If you've never used one of these Sling Packs, let me tell you how it works. The inner bag has is divided (by default) into three sections with horizontal dividers to provide a false bottom. Think of it as looking somewhat like a tic-tac-toe board. I put things like spare lenses and flash in the bottom with the dividers keeping them safe. In the upper middle compartment is my Canon 430EX flash. The other upper compartments hold two Canon Rebel XTi bodies, one with a 28-135 lens and the other with a 70-300 lens attached. One of the bodies has the battery grip attached as well. There is a zippered pocket in the lid of the main bag they say is good for things like lens caps. I keep my USB cable and iPad-to-USB adapter in there as well as my latest accessory, a velcro strap and gobo (flash bounce/light modifier.)The outer pocket is huge in this model as well with six inner pouches (two rows of three) with the rear row large enough to hold AA batteries, cleaning supplies, a smart phone and more. The front row is Tamrac's mesh system with red tags. Those are intended for holding memory cards and batteries and the tags are flipped out when the contents of the pocket is used (discharged batteries, full memory cards, etc.) There is still so much room in the outer pocket that I can store my Giottos CL1001 Large Cleaning Kit with Small Rocket Blaster and not even dent the available space. That Rocket Blaster is NOT all that small. In use, the strap goes over and rides on my left shoulder with the bag hanging on my right (I'm mostly right handed.) I then grab the strap and bag and "swivel" it up to ride like a backpack.I'm 5'10" and a "big guy", the strap size and padding is just fine on my body. When I need to access something in the bag, I swivel it back down and to my front, unzip and the main compartment lid opens away from my body making it easy to reach in and grab what I need. I can swap cameras in seconds this way though if I'm doing it a lot but not running all over, I leave the lid unzipped. The front pocket is a little more difficult to access but nothing terrible. When I'm done shooting, it gets zipped up, swung back around and I'm good to go with nothing banging on or getting bumped by people in the crowd. The construction of these bags is great! As I said, the 7X has seen at least 2.5 years of hard use and doesn't show it. I expect the same from this 10X. While it isn't advertised as water-proof, between the materials used and the storm flaps, I expect that it'll protect my gear in any weather I would be willing to shoot in.All in all I can't praise this bag enough as it is certainly the best one I've owned. The only downside I've found (isn't there always one) is that I didn't buy this sooner.

A Must have for ease of use.
I have been lugging camera gear around for 30 yrs , and I have probably used every type of camera bag imaginable. That being said I have found the Tamrac Velocity bags ( previously owned the Velocity 7 and now just procured the Velocity 10),are probably some of the best bags for Photographers on the go in both a urban and Suburban setting. The Bag sits well on your back , provides easy access (who cares what side it zips from) and holds 2 camera bodies or 1 camera body with a few lenses and other accessories that the photographer on the go would need. Overall I give the bag a 4 out of 5 stars the only shortcoming is the lack of back ventilation/padding which would in my opinion take this from a exceptional to a perfect camera bag.

Tamrac 5770 Velocity 10x
Update: (August 14, 2012). Ok, I am really liking this Tamrac 5770 Velocity 10x Pro Sling Back. It may not look like a camera bag, but it is performing very well for what I need it for. I carry two cameras, extra lens, flash and accessories and it also feel very comfortable on my back. 5 stars easily. ***********************************************************So far, I have enjoyed this pack. Had to get use to the look (entirely different from the backpack (M-Rock) that I have been using. This is a larger pack, but yet not to large. It fits comfortably on my back and has easy access to cameras. Yes, cameras. I purchased this pack because I wanted to be able to carry two camera (sometimes easier than change lenses).Right now I carry with me, one Canon 60D with a 50mm lens on it. A Canon 20 with a 11-16mm wide angle lens along with a Canon 17-55mm and a 430EX flash unit all in the main compartment. In the outer front section, I am carry my 75-300mm zoom lens and the 18-135mm kit lens that came with my 60D. Along with all the gear I just mentioned, I also have some SD cards, extra batteries and my trusty camera manual (just in case). So haven't ventured far yet with this set-up, but I believe that when the time come to travel, and I do often, I am prepared with a Sling Pack the will do the job.Oh, yea, it is very well put together,

Zwei Spiegelreflexkameras - Immer dabei!!!
