The glove works well overall. I have three Labrador Retrievers and three short haired cats. One of my dogs recently had a litter of puppies and she is shedding excessively. The glove was very effective at removing a lot of the loose hair. All of my dogs enjoyed their grooming session much more than when I try to brush them so it was good bonding time. None of my cats tolerated it but that did not surprise me. There are a few reason I gave this 3 stars instead of 5 stars. 1) I am left handed and this glove fits on your right hand. It was a bit awkward for me to use. I am sure I will get used to it but it might be beneficial to offer a left handed version. 2) The glove is very large and was too big for my hand. There is a velcro strap around the wrist but it only gives you about one inch of room to adjust and tighten the fit around your wrist. As I was stroking my pets with the glove it kept slipping and twisting around on my hand which made it more difficult to brush the smaller areas like their tails and legs. 3) It is a little difficult to remove the hair from the glove. It is like the bristles on a hair brush that have nubs on the ends. Overall though it did work well and I will make grooming sessions with my dogs more of a bonding session.

This product makes brushing my Goldendoodle so much easier.It arrived very quickly and is exactly as described.It is made to fit on the right hand and has a Velcro type wrist cuff that can be tightened so it doesn't slip around. The plastic tipped bristles cover the entire palm and thumb area making it so you brush large areas with every stroke.It is made from a breathable fabric which makes it comfortable and cool to wear.Hair pulls out of the bristles easily when finished brushing so it can be left clean for the next grooming.It is well made and should last a long time.I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I had purchased this glove on Amazon.com this past March and I had given it not a good review because I felt that a boar bristle brush was much better. However, I tried this again on my adult Shar Pei mix today (he has medium length hair, and long hair on the tail, and a seasonal undercoat), and he especially loved this underneath the chin and neck area--from head to through neck, and chin to down the front chest. He actually stretched his neck out for this glove groom, and he has not done that with other grooming bushes or combs I have used. I also found this effective on his tail, and hind to tail areas. This is an overall grooming body brush before or after a boar bristle brushing. When I went back to the original order, the seller of it did not appear or the item was sold out by that seller.

I recently adopted a 2.5 year old Chesapeake Bay retriever. He has two coats of hair and this glove removed so much unwanted hair. Before the glove, I was sweeping every day. Since the glove, I can skip a day or two. He coat is so shiny and his shedding is not as bad as before. I like the glove but he absolutely LOVES the glove. As soon as he sees it, he starts jumping and then drops to the floor and rolls on his back. If I stop before I thinks I should, he will try to grab the glove.

An interesting tool. Used on my cat, who likes being groomed with a soft tip brush. She was a bit skittish at first, but is starting to come around. I like using the Dog and Cat Brush Glove. My cat sheds quite a lot and this helps me to keep all that fur under control. I’ve noticed recently, how really soft and shiny her coat is now. This is a definite keeper!

Got two of these for two family members. One has a dog and one a cat that both shed. This worked perfectly and would recommend it highly
