The first pair I received was too stiff for me to use. The second pair which the seller very promptly sent was much better, although still a little stiff. I think with use they will loosen up sufficiently. The good news is that these shears appear to be very well made and cut very cleanly--quite unlike others I have used that "chewed" the fabric apart rather than cutting. I think they could benefit from an adjustable tension screw, but overall, they should work well.

Very good pair of pinking shears! Great feel in your hand. They look as if you could have paid big bucks for them. I am storing them in the box they came in to keep them from being all scuffed up being out and around my supplies.

Really stiff I'm going to try and oil them. I was expecting very smooth professional shears as stated!

The blades look good and the quality of the steel seems good, but it is really hard to use. I think there is something wrong with it. Maybe I just have a lemon.

These are pricier than other pinking shears, but the quality is outstanding, and there is no comparison to other pieces. Also, they come in a great sturdy storage box.

Love these shears. I'm 66 & have sewn my whole life. I've never used pinking shears that would cut until now. These cut as easily as my best dressmaker shears. Thanks!

Excellent quality heavy duty shears. Well balanced, sharp, cut smoothly entire length of the blade. These shears cut through fabric like a hot knife cuts butter. I highly recommend them.

I agree with other reviewers, best pinking shears, heavy duty! Comfortable in hand and smooth easy movement right out of the box with no oiling or adjustments.
