Dect 6.0 Cordless Accessory Headset (RCA-25065RE1)

So I like the headset it is clear and comfortable. I do NOT like the company that makes them Telefield. The unit arrived and was left to charge for a full day. Then mated to the phone base. The headset lasts for 10 to 15 minutes before indicating a dead battery. Called the support number provided and they recommended I purchase a 20.00 battery from them to test. The also pointed out that the battery is NOT covered under the warranty. So my 70.00 investment is going to cost at least 100.00 by the time I am done. (20 plus shipping). Forgot to mention the unit is only 10 days old.

Bought phone system and after two RCA tech support calls, handsets were fine, but wireless headset would not pair. Support person Aaron determined it was the battery, and needed to be replaced. Sent purchase documentation and 2 weeks later no replacement. Called again, new support person Michelle said the case number was not in computer. Michelle said they received the emailed proof of purchase and a new headset would be sent, but I have to pay shipping on the return, even though the original was defective and they messed up the first attempt to replace it. Not a customer friendly policy. It's been about 3 weeks, and I still don't have a working headset, and I'm going to incur costs to return a defective item!

This headst is the bomb! Really really great. You can even pop off the earpiece and 86 the headset. I personally like the headset better, myself I actually forget I''m wearing it its so comfortable....and you can still hear people talk to you in person, it doesnt block your hearing like a cell phone bluetooth does. I can get up & walk 300+ feet away from the phone and still talk and hear people crystal clear! It is unreal. My bluetooth on the cell phone would never go that far away. So now I can get up from my in house desk and walk out to the far end of my horse arena and answer the phone when it rings in my ear. I'm telling ya... Awesome!! I really wish my $100 cell phone Bluetooth had 1/2 the range this does.

Well i already have one. I thought I could connect a second unit so I can use it in both my office and in my studio in the same building but you can only connect one headset. It supposedly can be used on both lines but it is not easy to answer the second line when it rings while on the first line. You can only get to the headset via the main wired phone not the wireless phones so if you are not near the wired phone you can't transfer to the headset.

THIS IS THE SECOND ONE I HAVE OWNED. THE FIRST ONE FELL OFF WHILE I WAS CHECKING OUT FORD PICKUP ENGINE & FELL INTO THE COOLING FAN. BOTH UNITS SAVED A LOT OF RUNNING BACK & FORTH.

DH loves it. He wore out the first one he bought several years ago.

Can't say enough great things about this! Saves me from twisting neck all day at work and people hear me perfectly. Running a doctor's office, this is one of the most important things ever!

Complete garbage. The headset worked for maybe 2 or 3 calls fine. Now every time I use it, I hear my own voice in the earpiece when talking (extremely distracting) and get loud feedback all the time.
