Has worked well for over a year
Hung the unit on my wall. Put the sender outside and it has worked perfectly for over a year now. If all you need is the outdoor and indoor temp with a running record of highs and lows then this is the ticket. Have not had to replace the battery yet. Very happy with this one.

Failed after 70 days of indoor use.
My Bios Weather unit has failed after 70 days of use in an indoor environment. LCD shows nonsense, New batteries don't help. Rest button does not get a response. Given the cumbersome and quirky programming instructions I will not ask for a warranty replacement. I was gifted another brand of LCD min/max that's so far proved reliable, has a larger display and is a piece of cake to program so I'll just toss this one in the garbage and move on.

It Delivers as Advertised.
It was easy to set up. It seems fairly precise, displaying fractions of a degree, but it does differ from the reading of an adjacent digital thermometer on a camper thermostat that reads only indoor temperature, as much as a full degree difference and then some, so I'm not sure which one is correct. But it's close enough, and I like having the outdoor reading at a glance, so I'm fairly happy with it so far. I've got the sensor attached to a shaded part of the camper outside within about 6 feet of the display. So far, so good.Follow-up: It turns out that it's pretty accurate, and that the camper thermostat just takes longer to detect the indoor temperature.

Not exactly what I wanted
The unit works okay, but is not exactly what I wanted. It is placed in a shore residence which I visit every few weeks during the winter months. What I needed was a device that would record the daily temperatures and upon my arrival I could check the highest and lowest indoor and outdoor temperatures since my last visit. Then, I could reset the unit so that on my next visit I could see the high and low temperatures since my prior visit (to determine how well my heating unit was working).

I love it. It seems accurate
I love it. It seems accurate, and a lot of fun to see the varing degrees.

This is crap. A crap product and a crap company
This product is misrepresented. It does not give a daily history nor does it even have a history button. My outdoor sensor was off by 5-7 degrees in both directions. I returned it to the company under warranty to the address provided. It has been over 4 months now and still no replacement. It is a Canadian Company and no phone number was provided. This is crap. A crap product and a crap company.

Hummm.....
Well, I bought 2. One for me and one for a friend. (She doesn't have her's yet) but mine is almost 4 degrees off. Not that big of a deal when I have a thermometer hanging right beside the part that goes outside for this one, that I can look at, but that's how I know it wrong! The reason I wanted this is for the low temp and to be able to know what the lowest temp was at night, but I know it's wrong so I have to always subtract 4 degrees to get an idea....that's still not a science! Anxious to see if her's will work any better. I give it 4 stars because I like it. It's a great concept, I guess. I like the way the screen looks. I like how far away I can take it and still get a reading.....but. If you have no way to know if it is even close to right? Don't buy it.
