rivets great for sturdiness, use for washing rice
I bought these specifically because they are riveted where the handle meets the sieve. My previous strainers were welded at that point and they eventually fall apart. I only use the medium sized one (from pack of 3). The smallest one isn't riveted just to note. 6 months so far of daily usage and no signs of loosening. Very sturdy when straining rice.

Very good quality 18/8 stainless steel extra fine mesh strainer
I use the large mesh strainer to filter my almond milk first before I filter it again using Chef'n nut milk maker. It is easier to use a good quality blender and filter this way than using a nut milk bag. I am very happy for my purchase.Sometimes I also use my Kurvings cold press slow juicer to make almond milk first. Then follow by carrot and apple juice but I have to do a lot of washing.

Perfect sizes
I use these so much in my plant-based cooking. Rinsing beans, lentils, quinoa etc. works for sifting flour(s) too!
