Love this, works great. I get a lot of compliments on it at work (I work in a kitchen). The only thing is, it comes in a plastic tube, it doesn't have the little cover for the stick like a lot of others do which can be helpful for keeping the thermometer on your person.

This would be a great tool but it takes 90 seconds to go from one temp to another. I would call this a "slow read" thermometer.Certainly not the tool to measure the temp of something in the oven because you would have to leave the oven door open for a minute and a half. Seems pretty silly

Probably have used this thermometer at least 100 times at this point and it's still going strong. For five bucks, what more could you want? It does take a bit of time to catch up to higher temperatures, but I find that to be a non-issue since once it hits 165, I can check all the pieces of meat I'm cooking at once with no lag at all.

This digital thermometer works quite well, despite a number of reviews that mention that it is "slow to measure temperature" or that one has to "wait a long time" for it to measure temperature. The simple truth is that the probe is made of metal and it takes a few seconds to conduct heat and stabilize to a constant temperature. Yes, buttons may be a bit small and not so easy to read, but after using once or twice will know exactly where the controls are. All in all, a very good value for the price.

Excellent quality at a bargain price! This thermometer responds and reads-out very quickly, pretty much instantly. You could pay a lot more for one of these gadgets, but there's no need to -- this one works just as well as the much more expensive analog model I recently broke. And I like the extra length of the long probe; easier to stick into that big turkey without burning yourself. I highly recommend!

Only worked the first time I used it. a week later it would not read accurate temperature

Received today and tried to use it while making yogurt. I didn't have any problems with the small buttons but as I was measuring my hot milk (freshly steamed), the thermometer kept shutting off and resetting after reaching 168 F .,,I never knew if I reached my target temp of 188F because it would turn off! Id turn it back on and try again.,it would do the same thing. So frustrating! It's advertised temperature range is much higher so I don't know why it's doing that.

It works and is accurate to other thermometers I own. It is very slow to reach the actual temperature. I have to leave it in meat on the grill for close to 30 seconds to get an accurate reading.
