The Art of Battlefield 1 Hardcover – October 25, 2016

I wasn't expecting for the art book to be this gigantic but I really like it, there's a lot of concept art and early sketches that are very detailed of numerous main characters from the campaign, World War 1 soldiers with their military uniforms and heavy equipment and the various battleground locations where World War 1 took place as the maps that we all enjoy playing on in Battlefield 1 multiplayer! To top it all off, you will receive a promotional code for an exclusive BF1 in-game dog tag that will be placed in the front page of your Battlefield 1 hardcover, which you will have to redeem by signing into your EA account through Battlefield.com/darkhorse and it will display on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. I will only recommend people to buy The Art of Battlefield 1 if their a fan of the Battlefield series, as well as game collectors or someone that is very curious of the art design to create this fantastic video game reenactment of World War 1.

Bit disappointed that it was smaller than other Dark Horse artbooks but other than that, the book and its content were what I expected. Mostly clothing and environments, not a lot of reading material and it's quite literally just a book full of concept art if we're going to compare it to other video game artbooks that delve into development stories.

Battlefield 1 was my GOTY of 2016 I’ve spend countless hours playing the game. The setting will always be Battlefield 1 greatest strength as WWI was completely unique and can’t be taken away from the game, despite some issues with the game. Seeing the setting come to life in the Art of Battlefield 1 is phenomenal. You get the some behind the scenes development and cut content like a rock, paper, scissors mechanic in combat that was scrapped. The development of the campaign missions. As a bonus you get an in game dog tag of Dark Horse with the book. Definitely recommend it for fans of Battlefield 1.

Really solid, well-built product. Incredible art, conceptual designs and environments. If only it had a couple of pages showing the game's weapons and artillery.Sadly, 3 pages of my artbook were marked (as if they were scratched) at very visible spots. I have no idea if this technical issue involved a bunch or just mine.Nevertheless, I'd highly recommend this product if you're a lot into Battlefield and/or warlike art.
