180ct Value Size Osteo-Pet Glucosamine Chondroitin for Dogs

I went looking for a product like this because we have two chihuahuas and one dachshund, both breeds known to have arthritis issues. Additionally, two of the dogs are 8-9 years old and are showing early signs of problems. My vet recommended trying glucosamine, saying it works in dogs much like it does humans, and I have experienced the benefits of it (combined with chondroitin) myself with a knee issue.I read the reviews, with numerous saying their dog wouldn't eat these pills, but after reading reviews on other options, I decided to give these a try. My dogs have mixed feelings about this product. Our dachshund enjoys them quite a lot. The pills are bigger, perhaps an inch in diameter, so I use a pill cutter to cut them in half. He takes them as easily as he would any treat. The chihuahuas are not quite as excited about them, but don't outright reject them either. The pills crush easily enough, so I do this and pour the mostly powdered chunks over their dinner each night. Both chihuahuas eat their food easily without pushing the powder and small chunks of glucosamine out of the way.As for results, my dogs have been taking this supplement for about two weeks. The one dog that was most obviously showing signs of slowing down seems to be doing better. He's a little more playful than before (he's always been the laziest of the bunch, so I'm not expecting an overly playful pup), and seems more active in general. The difference is enough that I will continue adding the supplement to their dinner.

My 16 year old Vizsla has a little rust I the hinges and after trying several different brands, this product emerged as the one that helps her the most. I never did really see any notable improvement in her mobility with the other brands we tried, but this one was a notable exception. Her mobility and agility improve within days of starting a twice a day regimen, and she is starting her seventh month on this supplement. It has improved her quality of life tremendously, and I am convinced that has given us some more time with our beloved pet in her golden years. We are very grateful to have found this product!

Tobi is a very big dog, very active but getting creaky. We had him on Previcox for the last year but it didn't seem to be as helpful and our vet warned of liver problems and suggested the switch. He seems to be maintaining but not really improving so I may need to give him more. He is very happy to eat the tablets and I am happy to see him able to run and play as he likes. I do recommend these tablets as a help for an aging dog who has endured the bumps of life and is happy being active.I am updating this product because Tobi is doing so well. I think we have to be patient to let the tablets have a chance to do the job. He is like a remade dog and I am so happy for him. Worth every penny.Update number 2. Tobi has been taking these tables for nearly four months. What a difference in him. He is back to chasing deer again, which is so funny because the deer actually wait for him to catch up. He is such a happy dog and so are we. I really thought he might not have much more time left as he was so miserable in January. The change in him is really extraordinary. This does not happen overnight but it does happen. Now I need some for a 20 something horse!

I loved this product! Because it works!!My dog not so much:( Still have to disguise it in lunch meat or cheese:I started seeing results ln about three weeks and now it's been a month And she is doing so much better! She blew her hip out a few months ago and wasn't able to put weight on it!! It was looking like a costly operation was in her future and she still mite. But this product has given her a lot of relief so I'm going to keep on the program and see if it can if she will recover completely!

My 6 year old Lab is doing AMAZING since being on this product! He has epilepsy which has really taken a toll on his joints. I started noticing a year ago that he was having issues getting up so I decided to give this a try. He gets one pill a day and he is like a puppy again! Sometimes if he has a long day or plays too rough I can notice him having some trouble again but I will usually just give him a half pill and the next morning he is back to normal! I will also add that he doesnt mind eating this pill. I was afraid I would have to break it into tiny pieces or hide it in a treat but he comes running when he see's me open the jar. I

We have a 60 pound Australian Labradoodle who is an exceptional 15 years old. He has been on this supplement for about a year and it makes an AMAZING difference. When he first began taking it, we noticed an immediate and major improvement in his joints, his movement, etc., and this has continued for a year. He still romps at the park like a young pup. Amazing. I can't recommend this enough. And, BTW, our little guy loves the tablets and looks forward to them, before bed, every night.

I have no idea if this is making a difference, as I started giving my dog a prescription anti-inflammatory, fish oil, and this product, all at the same time (at the vet's suggestion). She went from being depressed and hardly moving to back to her old self within two days. So I'll continue giving her all three to combat her spine problems/arthritis. I suspect it was the anti-inflammatory that worked so quickly, but we don't mind paying for the supplements too, if there is even a good chance that they are helping.She thinks these tablets are a snack and eats them readily.The second time I ordered these, I ordered the large bottle and many of the tabs were broken,which is a bit of a hassle. I hope that was an aberration, we'll see if the next bottle is better --
