Great little lights, incredible customer service!
Lights were delivered promptly and seem to be fairly rugged but quality control is evidently lacking. I ordered the 2-pack and one of the belt/pocket clips was missing....didn't fall off in the package or anything like that, it just wasn't there. I e-mailed the vendor to request a replacement clip and screws....time will tell if they respond or not. If they do, I will be sure to post an update. The lights are decently bright but the next day after I received them, one of the switches started messing up. It always turns on in "strobe" mode instead of the regular "high" mode. A simple bump of the switch switches it to "high" again but it's annoying to have to double-tap every time. Like I said, it worked correctly right out of the box but started acting up the next day. So yes, they work, with some caveats. For the price I guess they're OK....I certainly didn't expect a Surefire or Streamlight at this price point. They're alright for a couple of cheap lights just to have around the house. The weird little square grid light pattern when you have the beam fully focused is kind of odd, too, but pull back just a little and it gets round again. Strange, I've never seen another LED that did this. (For the record, I also ordered a 2 pack of the V1000 lights from the same vendor and they seem to be working just fine)UPDATE: 2-16-17....added a star to my rating. Received in the mail today a whole new flashlight in response to my request for a replacement pocket clip. No questions asked. So customer service seems to be on the ball. Still debating about asking for a replacement for the other one with the defective switch, since it still does work. I have a feeling they'd replace it though if I asked.UPDATE #2. A couple of days ago I received an email from the vendor asking me to please review the flashlights on Amazon (which I had already done), and please let them know if I had any problems whatsoever with the lights. So i thanked them for replacing the first light, with the missing pocket clip, and that I had upped my review from 3 to 4 stars for making good on their warranty. I also mentioned the problem with the temperamental switch on the second light, and that I would give 5 stars if they made good on that one, too. Lo and behold, new flashlight in the mailbox today! So once again I'm upping my review to 5 stars. You can't ask for bettter than that!I'm short, buy these lights. They're great little lights for the price and with such awesome customer service you really can't go wrong.

Small, cheap, decent brightness for close uses
The LED in this flashlight is of decent brightness for the price. It is useful in close quarters as the beam is begins to diffuse quickly after about 20 ft, it can still be useful for walking on a road or clearly defined path, to peer at farther distances, but you'll probably want something stronger if planning on using it heavily for hiking at night. I wanted a single AA battery light that was small and uses the same batteries as my more powerful Fenix headlamp and external camera flashes. I use one at work as an inspection light and the other is at home for emergencies or picking up after the dog if he goes #2 at night. The tail cap is orange silicone and feels like it is of acceptable quality and operates with an audible click both on and off. If you press the button about a second after turning the beam off, it goes into strobe mode, it may require some practice to get the timing. The belt clip is held on by two small hex screws and the clip also stops the flashlight from rolling. The beam is round and good for the price, but has some rainbow affect caused by the lens around the edges of the beam and a slight "hot spot" in the middle, I don't find it distracting in normal use and had to shine it on a white wall to pick out the details of the beam. You can't adjust the focus or beam shape. The lip on the front protrudes slightly forward than the round lens to help protect it. It is all metal and has a rubber gasket on the tail cap, implying it can resist water and dust. If you are flashlight enthusiast.... I feel like it is a good deal for someone specifically hunting a single AA flashlight as a backup. It is smaller than flashlights that use three AAA and shorter than ones that use two AA or AAA. It is too thick for my tool belt organizers that have external loops for the easy to find AA Maglite. I used to use the Mag but after losing two (because they keep falling off the loop), I keep it in my organizer in a zippered pocket.

Great little light, but . . .
I really like the size and brightness of this light. I also like the adjustment from flood to tightly focused beam. It is small enough to clip in my pocket and not notice it being there. I am male and wear pants with slant style pockets for work where I teach high school. I carry this light every day. One thing to know is that it may blink on then back off when you try to turn it on. It has done that with me if the battery is low- so, if you think it is broken, try replacing the batteries before throwing it away. The but . . . -the pocket clip on 3 of the 6 lights that I have purchased (yes, I like them that much) have broken. I have caught the clip on different objects while the light was clipped on my pocket and it snapped off. That happens and is **no fault of the light or manufacturer**. The problem is that I cannot find a source of replacements for the pocket clip yet. I am hoping somebody can get me information on where to find the pocket clips to purchase. Again, other than not being able to replace the pocket clip, I LOVE this little light of mine.

Des lampes qui éclairent
Je ne suis pas déçue par l'achat de ces lampes ! Elles éclairent bien et vous pouvez l'accrocher n'importe où ( à la poche de votre pantalon ou de votre chemise, etc...). Je recommande.
