These things are magic
I have pain when I walk much due to decades of abusing my toes. When I slip one of these over a toe and carefully put on socks over it, I am pain free for the day. They seemed a bit pricey but they last for repeat use. I just hand wash them.

Very comfortable to wear. Protects my callous better than other similar products I have tried.
Works great! Because of the way my ankle fused after a serious accident, walking (or even just standing) puts a great deal of pressure on the big toe of my right foot. That extra pressure along with rubbing of my shoe when I walk causes me to get this big callous on my toe, which also develops a big bruise underneath, causing much pain and discomfort. I have to go to my podiatrist regularly to have it shaved down, which is a real pain logistically for me considering where I live, where I work and where my doctor's office is located. Short of a series of surgeries that would lay me up for long periods of time, these pads are the best option for me. I have tried other toe pads that did not adequately pad my toe, and some that even caused more problems. These were recommended by my podiatrist, so I thought I would try them. They are so much more comfortable to wear than others. My only complaint (and the only reason I give them a 4-star rating) is that after just a few uses (you can reuse them by soaking them in a mild detergent - I use dish soap - rinsing and letting them air dry), the elasticity starts to relax and stretch and they tend to slip off my callous, causing me to have to periodically remove my shoe and sock to readjust it to the proper position. I will definitely continue to buy these but was hoping to get more wear out of them than just a few uses.

Finally found relief!
I've tried many of the products available on Amazon and a few from local stores trying to find a way to be able to walk more than half a mile without foot pain from Morton's Neuroma. Some products just haven't been comfortable. Others have been ok for moving around the house in socks or loose bedroom slippers, but until now none have been comfortable to wear with hiking shoes or sneakers, often because the shoes become too tight with the addition of the product. These pads do the trick. Each pad is very comfortable and not so thick that my toes are freakishly splayed. They create enough space between toes to keep the nerves from getting pinched and since the pads are singles (each pad goes on one toe or finger) you get to choose how much padding you want. Unless you are wearing shoes with narrow toe boxes (which is a real no-no for people with toe/foot pad issues), you should have no problem wearing them comfortably with shoes. Note that I bought the large/extra large pads and the small/medium pads to cover all my toes needs. They may seem pricey, but I've spent a lot more on products that aren't solving my main problem--making it possible to walk out in the world in regular shoes without pain or discomfort

Worth the money
I've tried other products to keep my big toe from rubbing #2. These are comfortable. I've used the large on both toes. For me, putting them on the large toe is most comfortable. I thought they were a little expensive, but now after using them 8 months, I conclude that they are worth the price. I wash them with hand soap, squeeze them in a wash cloth to dry a little, and let them dry overnight. They still look like new. I would guess that they are not quite as tight as when I first bought them, but not very much different. They have not collected sock fuzzies like other products I have used. Having the gel pad on only one side allows them to expand comfortably. I've tried the tubes with the gel all around, but they tend to choke my toe.

Perfect
Big toenail jab into the top of your shoe? These little cushy pads really work to gently and comfortably depress your big toe and solve the problem.

Works very well
I use these to keep my shoes from rubbing on my toe which has developed a recurring sore. You wear it below the sensitive area and that is what the shoe touches.
