WASPcam P.O.D. Dash Camera

Long term Update: After almost 2 years of constant use this camera is still going. I will say it has been acting a little weird lately. At times it will get stuck in a continuous boot loop after the car as been turned off. After witnessing this behavior a couple of times and then one day coming out to a dead car battery I now unplug the camera at night. I can not definitively say that the camera caused the dead battery but I have not had it happen again since I have been unplugging it.Like I mentioned earlier, it has been 2 years and this is the only issue I have ever had with the camera.---------------------Great little camera. Easy to install and easy to use. I like the information that it displays.Notes for improvement: Could be a little more discreet. The white logos and silver items make it stand out a bit (black tape helps some) I have it in a 2012 Charger and the size of the camera makes it a little hard to fit behind the rear view mirror. Needs an option to disable the text on the video (software update could fix this, I hope someone is listening)

Working perfectly after a few early issues. I would have given 5 stars, but the documentation is really not very good. The product works great once you figure it all out. But I started off with a flash card that wasn't quite fast enough. Perhaps I should have known that, but the unit flashed a blue then violet alternating pattern that was not described in the manual at all. I call the phone number on the manual and received EXCELLENT support. I have to say that the support was far beyond my expectations and pretty nearly made up for the inadequate documentation.Another problem I had was that I turned on the parking guard feature not really understanding how it works. I thought it would just take effect when the vehicle was parked, but apparently not. It caused the camera to take just a few frames per second which effectively results in a very high speed video. I eventually figured this out and went through a bit of trial and error on some other settings and now it's working great!I should note that I have an MSEE degree and am reasonably capable. I am a bit concerned that those who are not technically competent might really flounder with this product.

Great little dash cam, I have 2 of these and the 1st one lost it's screen cover and was a little beat up so I purchased a 2nd one that I put in the front window, and 1st older one, I put that in the back window of my 2016 Ford F-150 I have a very hard time putting this in my back window, I didn't attache it to the sliding back window, instead I had to go up under the top cover roof using sticky mount without the pad.. It records the back of my truck well, but it is a little hard to position it to be vertical flush with the back window, so I had to improvise a little and get very creative just to have it on the back as a rear cam (the mounts aren't made to be flush/vertical as they are curved for a front windshield, they need to make better 360 degree mounts to fit whatever your use may be, but all and all not a bad dash cam.I would have giving it a 5 star rating but, the company that makes this won't get back to me, as I ask for some replacement suction-cup & sticky pad mount, but no luck, maybe this is due to the WASPcam P.O.D. 9401 Dash Camera ... has been discounted on the company website......too bad they won't support this little GPS Gem anymore, get one while they last here on Amazon

I purchased this unit less than 1 month ago and have been using as per the direction included in the box. Each time i start my vehicle the camera will read “memory error”. I have tried trouble shooting the m.cards (swapped brands etc) and have also been unable to access the recordings on the unit or on my laptop or desktop computer.

Awsome dash camera. Now I can have a piece of mind when driving. That way I protect my own interests in the court of law in the event of an accident.
