My husband bought this for our fitness room. Installation wasn't too bad. He pre-drilled the holes (I think they are 1/2" holes) in the ceiling studs and then he held the bar up and I drilled the bolts in the studs. It is heavy so two people and power tools would be needed for installation. My husband uses it every morning and likes it.

My husband installed this for himself and our daughters. It should probably be a two person job but he has the tools to install it himself. Be aware that everything used to assemble this bar is metric so if\when you need to drill pilot holes use metric bits and always be on the lookout for power wires.

Installed it and seems very sturdy.. Just hang on it twice and already see a little warp on the horizon junction...Hope that will be all....

Awesome bar, so far it is good, very sturdy. Comes with all necessary equipment. I would recommend having a friend help you put it up if you have a tall ceiling as it can get a little heavy when you are trying to hold it to the ceiling on a ladder. :)

If you are a crossfitter, don’t buy this bar. The foam grips are slippery, and the rest of the bar isn’t a normal bar width. I’ve watched people trying to do simple, controlled kips fly off this bar. If you’re trying for strict pull ups maybe you’ll have better luck (?). We won’t use it so I am disappointed.

Looking for a multipurpose bar for pull ups , dip rings etc. This bar fit the bill to the T. Easy to assemble and stable. All tools included too! I love the width which give options for different hand positions. Great value too! Highly recommend!

First this is not a ceiling mount. This is build for a wall mount. Second this will not work with 16" studs or joists. The mounting holes are between 21" and 27". Build quality is good for the price. I've seen better but also worse.

Very disappointed. The instructions are beyond confusing. Only after putting instructions aside could I figure out how to assemble and mount. They appear to have been machine translated with no one to check; for example, the to top pieces perpendicular to bar are described as "shelves." Materials arrived improperly packed and obviously previously opened and carelessly resealed. Illustrations in instructions are misleading, possibilities for changing relative positions of bar are very limited. I am returned.
