Aiiworld Touch Screen Digitizer Assembled with Home Button Strong Adhesive for iPad 3 3rd Generation A1416 A1403 A1430-White

I was kinda disappointing with this glass. Though it allowed me to get full functionality back on to my Ipad 3, there were some quality issues. The button was not put on straight. It may not matter for most, but every time I look at it, I can see the square on the button is off quilter. I like how there is already a button on the glass so I don't have to transfer my old button on to it. I appreciate the adhesive already applied on the glass, but they are slightly to close to the edge, so when I close the glass onto the tablet, some of the adhesive seeps out of the edge, especially in the corners. If i had a black screen, this wouldn't be a problem, but since its white, its quite noticeable. The touch screen works perfectly, but you can really see the touchscreen lines on the glass, especially when looking at something with a white background on the screen.

This was the second time I had to change the screen on this iPad (I know, maybe a case would help . . . but cracked the screen again). Was very easy to change after learning how the first time (check youtube for videos, it's really not as scary as it seems at first), but I do recommend a heat gun or hair dryer. Good value for this screen, and it extended the life of the iPad. And the adhesive on this screen is sticking very nicely so far (about a month); the first replacement I did never really adhered, and was always poking up around the edges, this one is holding very nicely.

After taking off the cracked screen and installing this one I realized that there is to many dead spots on the new screen making the Ipad useless. I have to rotate the Ipad all the time from portrait to landscape to make it work. The adhesion to the Ipad is not the best either.

I repair/refurbish Apple products and for the cost of the digitizer, I'm not complaining. iPads can be difficult to work with, especially if the bezel( the small plastic edge on the frame of the iPad) is bent. With that being said, the adhesive wasn't the best. There were a few pre-attached strips to the digitizer so you had one chance to put it on correctly. I ended up using some all purpose liquid adhesive to make the digitizer stay. Over all it works, so I'd recommend it. Side note- if you aren't familiar with small electronic, expect to work on it for a few hours.

Good screen quality, no digitizer problems. However, the home button is not quite centered. I tried to straighten it before installation but it is off center and you have to press the top of the button for it to work. That is why I dropped a star.

I mean, thanks to this product I was able to get my old iPad working again however the adhesive is terrible. It still lifts & won't stay flush & I've yet to get around to finding a solution. Also people should note that the screen does NOT come with the little thin plastic border that holds the actual screen to the iPad. Luckily my plastic border was intact otherwise this review would've been not such a happy one.

I like that it comes with the adhesive tape already attached. Makes it a lot easier when the last step doesn't have to be attaching bits of tape to the screen. Mine came in perfect condition and works great! Worth the price if you don't need the tools.

Came as it said it would in the description. Adhesive worked perfectly and didn’t have any problem installing the new screen. Great quality.. can’t even tell it’s been changed. Thanks for a good product. Everyone who has a problem with this screen you must be retarded.. this was the first time I’ve ever changed the screen on any of my devices and It was very simple. Just watch some YouTube videos with good description and use a little common sense. Will definitely be buying again In the future.

Not very strong adhesive

Could be a little cheaper for that old model of iPad.

Like that the item was packaged well. The price was affordable in purchasing the iPad glass screen. Will be replacing the broken one on my iPad. Thank you for your product. Kenny Park
