I can’t believe that the quality is surprisingly good! Bought this to scan in my tons of old pictures and billings into my laptop. This scanner it's about 9 inches, so light and portability. When you get the speed right, and it just scans with no more interaction. Great value,works as described. I’m very satisfied with the product.

Error LED works well. I cannot say much about the other functions, as they could not be tested - only the error LED comes on in the unit I received. The unit will turn on, but only to flash the error LED, and after only a few seconds, the unit powers down. The device looks quite nice, I wish that it worked 5% as well as it looks instead of 0% functionality.

I got this because I am working on my genealogy and been visiting family and friends. I wanted images and documents without taking the originals. This took decent scans when your away from a computer. Sometime times it was hard to get a scan, but it got the job done. I am happy with this product.

I bought this because I needed a lightweight portable scanner to use with client blueprints and I liked that it was small enough to store easily in my apartment. Overall, the scanner was slim, lightweight, and beautifully designed. It seemed like it would be fairly easy to use, but I never got that far. The scanner wasn't "plug and play". It came with a small CD which had the driver for you to download. This was the first problem because I use a MacBook Pro and the Mac laptops just don't have disc drives anymore. I was able to find a driver online, but once it was downloaded and I opened it for use, it said it wasn't compatible with OS X El Capitan and directed me to download the update. The link that took me to the App Store had a driver for $120 (the Pro version). Online, at the ABBYY website, there was not a driver update that was easy to find. I wouldn't say that I'm overly tech savvy, but I did grow up using computers and can navigate my way around basic product set-up and software updates. This was just not easy to use.

Perfect for my daughter to get rid of the excess papers in house!. Pictures came out crystal clear when you keep the wand steady. And, this portable scanner is light, easy to work with and easy to take with her! BTW, the carrying pouch provided was definitely helpful. Well made product at a very reasonable price. She loves to scan her papers with it. Was a nice gift.

Just received scanner. The red error light will not go out so it will not scan. This is not my first hand held scanner so I do know how to use them. Just a bad apple I guess.

I haven't used this a ton yet but in the three times I tried it it worked well. Keep in mind it's portable and quality will suffer. But for scanning on the go it works well.

It worked wonderfully and the photos came out very clear. Being an artist, I do recommend this product! You only need a steady hand and a same speed of scanning. It makes scanning simpler and more efficient, the durable case with just the right amount of space is good for me to leave it in my bag and pull it out whenever I need it for my project.
