Device was decent, app was not!
I bought this and returned it within 3 weeks. The actual device, meaning the activity tracker, was excellent for the price! It tracked my steps, gave me distance in steps, read my daily calories burned, the basics. The battery life was really great too! I wore it day and night and it lasted like 6 days before I had to charge it again after the initial setup and first charge! (I only charged it twice in the 3 weeks I had it.) The heart rate monitor needed alot of work! It was extremely inaccurate, especially when I was actually working out! It would read 51 when I was sweating so bad and couldn't even breathe! The sleep monitor was pretty awful as well! The sleep monitor tracks your sleep from 9pm-9am!!! Now, I suffer from insomnia, so my sleeping hours and patterns are no where near a normal, regular 9pm-9am! This was the biggest reason I got the device, and it ended up being the deal breaker! Now the app! Oh the app...the app was pretty awful! It constantly crashed, extremely basic and it reset and completely erased the previous week every Sunday night. And when I say it constantly crashed, I mean it CONSTANTLY CRASHED! Everytime I used it to check my data summary for the week, it crashed and closed so much that it became normal to just automatically restart the app! Not only that but it literally called me very fat! I know I'm over weight! That's why I bought the darn activity tracker and started workin out in the first place! Needs major improvements and upgrades (mostly for the app)! Decided to go with a Fitbit Charge 2...can't wait to try it!

It's ok.
I just received this in the mail today. So far, it's not bad. 4 stars as I'm a little insulted by the BMI indicator - Ver Fat is not a pleasant thing to see when you're trying to get back in shape... The guide is a little confusing to figure out but it's not overly complicated. For a fraction of the cost of a Fit Bit you get more functions such as the text and call feature as well as an alarm. I'll give it some time and update my review later.UPDATE: 4 days later - Having worn it for a day I'm returning it. The pulse rate is supposed to update after every 10 minutes, I found it going an hour or more without an update and while wide awake talking to someone my rate was suddenly 47. Pretty sure that was not the case or I would have been in a coma. Going back to the fitbit even if it doesn't tell me someone is calling. Perhaps my Towabo is defective but I'm not interested in replacement.

I got what I paid for, but it was worth a try
I didn't want to commit to a pricier fitness watch just yet, so I decided to give this a try. After having it for one month, these are my observations. The heart rate monitor and calorie counter are not accurate and register a heart rate/calorie burn when I'm not wearing it. The watch falls out of sync with my phone, even without making any changes. The battery is wildly unreliable as it would go to no charge from full charge to mid charge out of the blue. The app is not intuitive at all, and does not read well. Good things include fairly accurate step monitor, not bulky, and comfortable to wear, though the buckle is a little tricky. It was worth a try, but ultimately did not work for me. I really wanted it to work, so I'm a bit bummed.

Very bad device and junk APP!
Initially the device seemed to work fine, counting steps walked and heart beat every 10-15 seconds. Soon I started to see the problems with the devise. First it sporadically showed my heart rate of 170 beats while my manual heart rate counting showed only about 65-70. Then I wore it to walk on a trail while I actually counted my steps for about one mile that was about 2200 steps but the device showed only 1400, missing a lot.As for the app, it is basically a junk software. Its sleep record is nonsense: one night I had insomnia but the report showed that I had 51% deep sleep time, whereas another night I had a very sound and refreshing sleep but the devise showed that I had only 32% deep sleep time. Its step tracking can only record and show the current day steps walked. The week tab never shows any progress, stuck on a line from Friday to Saturday, and for the month tab it tracked the steps for each for the first month that the device was started to use but no more tracking the end of the month and on.

Laser caused blisters!
I bought this for my father in Feb this year (now July) and it doesn't track the heart rate correctly and since the back has wore off from sweat and wear, now every time the laser activates to check the heart rate- it "bites" him and has caused little blisters. The time does get off sync with the watch and he has to reset it quite often. He does not really use the app so I can not comment on that. The band seemed to be fine where others have commented it broke. He feels the step count is fairly accurate though. It really only has lasted about 3 months before having issues. I know we didn't pay $100+ for it, but I feel it should've lasted a little longer. At least I wouldn't expect it to injure him! I will not buy another.

Don't waste your time
I really wanted to like this band but there are so many things wrong with it. Maybe mine was defective because so many people left 5 stars (don't see how, it's not logical), but for me this product did not work.1) the steps/distance is way off. At the end of the day it shows me that I have close to 4000 steps but only 0.6mi. It should be 1.9mi2) the heart rate monitor should be continuous but it is not. It is measured every 10 min. In 10 min my heart rate could have gone up or down. Also it shows me my heart rate of 180 doing chores around the house. Not likely3) the sleep monitoring is a joke. Sleep so monitored from 9pm to 9 am. No way to change it. I wish I have that sleep schedule lol. I think we all do.4) it connected perfectly right out of the box only to disconnect next morning and not connect again. At times it would connect by itself during the day If I am lucky.5) the hplus watch app is a joke. It looks really cheap, not many options within the app, there should be a heart monitoring option for the gym so you know how many calories burned and heart rate but there isn't any.If you need a watch to tell you time and steps only this is perfect. Or you can go to Walmart and buy one for 10 bucks. Really disappointed .
