Tekey 50 Mile Amplified HDTV Antenna with Detachable Amplifier Signal Booster USB Power Supply and 10ft Coaxial Cable,Ultra Thin and Soft

Canceling cable a few months back, I was on the verge of possibly returning to that money-sucking company due to the lack of sports I was missing. I found this product, realized I can at least catch college ball and NFL on basic cable, so I gave it a shot. Wow! I can't believe I've missed the last few weeks when I could've spent $11 and been watching the Seahawks pound their competition. I have an HDTV so I literally plugged it in the back of my TV, placed the antenna on the wall, switch the tuner mode to antenna (in tv settings), scanned for channels, and bam! HIGHLY recommend this antenna.

Works great. And got rid of my cable bill. So I'm happy as I don't watch a lot of TV and my local cable company would not let me have just local channels. I then bought my Mom one and works great in her house and she got rid of the rabbit ears

For the price this is a great antenna. My wife and I bought a few of the cheaper alternatives out there. Those ended up being a waste of money. The TEKEY version is much better. It's not perfect. You still need to find a "sweet spot", but give that it's not banded or priced as a top of the line I would say it's a good value.

I though it was worth a try but 50 miles is a gross exaggeration. I already own an inside antenna but only get 3 of the local channels. My current antenna says it's 30 miles. With this one I can only get 1 of 4 local networks that are within 5 miles of my house. :(. Money wasted

I returned it because I am too far from the broadcast stations. This is for 50 miles and I am 60+ miles away.

I bought this for my conversion van. The antenna is small just what I was looking for, mounted at the top of window from the inside and hooked up the tv scan for channels and received 4 while the van was parked in a protective area... rescan away from buildings and received 20 channels. Very satisfied with this antenna.

Did not make a single difference or improve anything. In fact it was worse than the 30 mile non amplified antenna I currently have as I get over 40 channels with that, but with this in exact same location I barely got 30 and half where pixelated or not coming in. This does not go 50 miles and is not worth it. Only reason im keeping is because it was super cheap and i gave it to my 10 year old for his bedroom tv to get a couple stations. Avoid this product!!

The coax connector on the wire coming from the antenna itself will not plug into the included inline amplifier, or anything else for that matter. It almost looks like they forgot to add the threading to the type f connector. It's not a push-on connector either, since the inner diameter is too narrow to go around a standard coax connector.I suppose I could have cut it off and attached a proper type f connector but then i would have to buy the connectors and the crimp tool.
