Ok as long as you remove the ring that holds the chain onto the lid.
I liked the fine mesh - there are no hop particulates in my batch- and the fact that the body and lid did not rust. However, the ring that holds the chain onto the lid of unit became rusty after just one use. It seems like the entire thing is stainless except for that ring. I don’t like the thought of drinking rust flavored beer… The idea and overall design are great but the execution has that one fatal flaw. At least, the workaround is easy… remove the part that rusts.

High quality, easy clean.
Easy to use, easy to clean. While not specifically intended for use with coffee (and I did not lower the star rating), this will not work with coarse ground coffee if you need to shake it. The holes on the top will allow grounds to escape. Combining this with a mesh hop bag contained the coffee grounds and yielded a fantastic coffee stout.

So far so good over 24 brews
I am dry hopping a DIPA right now with this hopper and previously dry hopped an oatmeal stout with it and it has worked exactly as advertised both time. Very easy to use and clean.UPDATE: I have now owned this dry hopper for 2 years and used it probably a ouple dozen times including right now to dry hop in a kef with cryo hop pellets and it is still working great. Still 5 stars.

Works for cold brew coffee
I use it for cold brewing coffee in a large glass container. Works well

Pretty solid, happy with purchase.
Pretty solid product, does what it's intended to. The only downfall is that you need to affix a stainless steel wire to the top of it so that you dont dry-hop for too long. I took this wire and clamped it down to the outside of the keg/fermenter, which when you close it down it isnt completely air-tight. Beyond that, it's a well made product and gets the job done.

Top wont screw on.
The top wouldn't screw in properly so I had to return it.

Overall good quality, but I wish that the top had ...
Overall good quality, but I wish that the top had some sort of lock - it's tight enough that it has so far kept closed, but I'm a little concerned at some point it's going to pop open (especially when pulling out some heavy beer-logged dry hops).

Large holes in lid
The bottom portion isn't too bad, but the bottom itself is solid. The lid is the worst part...hard to trust it staying on, but mostly, the holes in the lid (pictured) are as big as shown with nothing behind them. As such, when submerged it'll work poorly as a 300 micron filter unless blocked somehow. Meh
