The size means that however the kids' sleep, the base sheet is always protected, so night time changes literally just involve whipping this protector off (I've never found they have more than one accident a night, so don't ever bother putting a fresh one on until the morning, to minimise disturbances). They wash well and dry pretty quickly, and even now that accidents seem to be a thing of the past, I'm still using them as insurance. Changing the sheets can be a real pain because he has fitted sheets and his bed is against a wall. Got these and they have been a game changer! They are SO absorbent that there have been times I've only known he's wet the bed from his pants because the protector is stone dry. They don't even smell that bad.
