The NANO and Smart Grill Pro 6 are 2 totally diferent products !!!
2nd UPDATE: My brother used them while searing the steaks and the silicone burnt completely. You just can't use them over direct heat.UPDATE: The silicone handle on the probe changed color a little when used over direct heat on the grill. It would be a better product if it was only stainless steel.First thing is I don't understand why reviews for the Kisslink NANO ends up here on the Smart Grill Pro. Yes the NANO will melt because it's not design for oven use and I doubt that it would fair well on a grill. But the Smart Grill Pro 6 is the tool for that job. BBQ, grill, smoker, Big Green Egg and even you Thanksgiving turkey in the oven.I used it yesterday and finally no more guessing. Our steaks were exactly medium rare. Even though they were of different sizes. I could see instantly see the temperature of each steaks and control the time or heat so they come out perfect. Here in Canada it's was 2C or 34F yesterday, so the Bluetooth feature comes really handy. I can go back inside the house and keep an eye on things with the App on my cell.I am told by the seller that, the extra probes will be available for purchase soon. ( update 21 Dec 2016, still waiting for the spare probes)The removable plastic clip on the probes are géniales as we say in French. It holds on the probe, than you coil the wire around it and the 1/8 jack fits just perfect in the gap. Everything can be put away neatly no messy wires entanglements.

Worked great...for a short period.
It worked really well for about three months. Now it doesn't work any more. It somehow has just stopped recording a temperature. I've tried using the two different probes, placed them in the different ports, nothing. It seems to be the central unit itself. Very frustrating for a $50 product. I would not recommend this product.

) handles would be cool enough to grab
Couldn't figure out how to change the preset degrees and unhappy with the ones given. One of the two thermometers failed after three or four uses. Was hoping the plastic (or rubber?) handles would be cool enough to grab... not true.Somehow triggered the timer thingy when I didn't want it so it went off along with my other timer on my phone.for some reason it registered 500+ degrees after just a few minutes of cooking time.Got so frustrated with it on the the 9th or 10th try I gave up and tossed everything in the trash.John

Good product.
I have had a few of these things over the years, each one was as good as the other. This being blue tooth I thought it would be better, and it is With the multiple probes its great for for making sure each different need is met. As far as range, its not that great and that's the big draw back to me. If your sitting outside near the grill it works perfect, it step just inside and it looses its connection to your phone. Still a very good must accessory for any griller.

Don't buy
One probe quit working after 1 use. Tried to find more probes online unsuccessfully. Not worth the $50.

Great Design and Execution
This cooking/grilling thermometer gets four stars for meeting all its claims and an extra star for the surprisingly functional app. Before going on, let me advise that this set is useful but will not meet its potential unless you also use the app which is Apple iOS or Android only. Other phone or tablet OS’s need not apply. The set consists of three parts; probes, central unit and app. It comes with two probes but can accommodate six probes at once. The probes plug into a central unit which has a large LED display. The central unit is quite large both larger than I think it has to be and also larger than expected. The upside is that the display is easily readable for a distance. The central unit feels light. I am skeptical that it’ll survive a drop or two from grill/counter height onto a hard surface. That latter statement is definitely not tested here. The key to the system is the app. Tested here on iOS I expect it’s identical for Android. The app allows setting temperature for each probe and also setting various alarms to sound or vibrate or whatever for each probe. Pairing the central unit with the app went easily taking at worst a few seconds. From then on, the app and the central device pair when both are active. This is the way app to device connectivity should work. It’s a delight. The central unit constantly scans the active probes where active means used ports showing an indicator light by the port being displayed on the central LED. The app has separate lines for each active probe. As an added bonus, the app shows a graph of the temperature rise as you cook as well as the state of the central unit's batteries so you'll be advised if the central unit runs out of power before cooking's done. I’ve never seen a cooking graph before but being something of a geek, I was fascinated by watching items cook exhibiting different slopes as they did so. I haven’t any idea why one would need to monitor six areas of something cooking but you can. I suppose a huge roast may need a few probes to monitor not just the inner area but the outside too.To test the durability of the probes which are claimed able to stand up to 482F or 250C temperatures, I put the two in an oven at a calibrated 450F temperature. After a half hour, the probes showed no deformation or diminution of function. The probes come with very long connector wires making placing the central until away from the grill easy to accomplish. Simply put the design of the unit is excellent as is the execution. When the probes were checked against a calibrated thermometer they both were within 1.5F of that standard which is well within the accuracy for food cooking. One caution in using that is not specific to this unit. These probes tend to fail when the wire connecting the probe to the central unit is damaged. Do not lay the wire in such a way to have it crushed by a heavy metal grill cover. Instead, make sure to route the wires through a vent or rotisserie hole in the grill. Also, do not immerse in water the area where the probe wire attaches to the probe itself.Accurate, flexible and highly informative as well as perfect in operation, this one is a winner. Being able to monitor your cooking food from anywhere within about 100’ or 30 m of the food is a real luxury I didn’t know I needed until I had it.
