The first order someone literally cut it out of the box and it was missing on my porch. I sent an email to Tibres and inquired as to what to do. Immediately they sent a replacement. I find the company is located in Europe. The material is in fact Alder and solid wood in all regards. The pegs are solid wood and mat perfectly to the slat of wood. It is extremely well packaged and the product itself arrives in a fabric type sleeve. It would be unlikely it will arrive with nicks, or dings. The advertisement indicates high quality. I would most assuredly agree. The craftsmanship is very well done. I went to the tibres.com website in hopes to find a longer rack with 2 or 3 more pegs, but unfortunately I found none. It would be great if they made this product slightly longer with maybe 3 more pegs. The product has a very nice finish with no high gloss. I plan on having this refinished and stained to match my trim. The finish is nice enough that it is a shame to think I will sand it down and stain it. It would be great if they could offer this product without finish. I do not tend to do reviews that often, but in this case the product quality was impressive enough I felt inclined that I really needed too.

The wood racks which this seller make are beautifully made and are of wonderful quality. Frankly, I think it’s hard to find wood racks which are as well made as these are. I purchased the rack in both the natural and white finish, and I have to say that the seller was great to work with. When the first white rack arrived, I wasn’t that happy with the finish because it seemed like more of a wash than an opaque finish (which was what I had been led to expect by the accompanying photo). When I explained my expectations to the seller, I was taken aback by the seller’s kind, thoughtful, and extremely generous response. She not only refunded my money, but at no prompting from me, sent me another white finished rack at absolutely no cost to me. Happily for me, the second white rack had the kind of finish for which I had hoped. It was in every respect perfect. I feel that I cannot say enough nice things about this seller. Customer satisfaction is a priority with this seller, and they will go out of their way to ensure that that is accomplished. As far as I’m concerned, this is pretty rare nowadays.

This thing is simple, looks exactly as pictured and does the job. The instructions are a bit unnecessarily complicated. Go with your instincts on whether to use the anchors or not. I did and don't think I needed them.

First I liked the design and look of the coat rack, very modern and sleek. Wood does not appear to be Chinese softwood but I think it's made in China. The pegs are mortised into the plate and this very strong. Well made!The mounting hardware supplied is junk, throw it away and get something else. I tried to use the drywall anchors and both split with very little pressure even with a 1/4" pilot hole. Having others on hand, worked no problem. The second issue is that the screws supplied are dry-wall type with a large head. The holes in the back of the plate are the exact same size as the screw heads. This means that even if you are VERY careful to measure the EXACT distance between the holes, if you are off by even the smallest amount, the plate will never align with the holes. I fussed with this for 15 minutes before I gave up and again using screws on hand from another set of drywall anchors and it popped in place on the first try.

My guest room is small. I wanted something that did not stick out very far from the wall for guests to hang towels, purses, or whatever they wanted. This coat rack does not take up much space (into the room), and the white color makes it blend in with the trim in the room. Installation was easy. I am happy with this purchase.

I bought two for my kids coats and backpacks. I am a single mom and was worried installation may be difficult by myself. I had no problem. The directions work as a template to take the guess work out of where to drill the holes. Very Attractive and strong enough to hold heavy backpacks and coats.

It is too short and does not hang well on the back of a door.

I loved the quality of this, and how easy it was to install. We have a hollow door, and the hardware they included worked great. It's very attractive.It's a beautiful rack and we were happy to get it so quickly!
