TS2-72 On/Off Touch Switch

I used this product to simply turn my new under the cabinet LED lights on and off! It replaces a 4 function (low/med/hi/off) touch pad switch for my old incandescent puck lights, basically because the new LED driver would not tolerate a voltage drop, so a simple on/off function was needed! I just had to change the connector for the capacitive touch plate in order to utilize my existing wire that ran behind my wall to the touch plate under the cabinet. I found that there is a 1 second delay before the lights turn on after touching the pad, but that may be the LED power supply itself......not sure as I didn't test either one independently before installation. Turning it off on the other hand is instantaneous.I took 1 star off my rating because this unit is fairly expensive for it's simple functionality, probably because there is not much competition out there for a simple on/off switch that I could find....most have the dimmer function included and for about half the price.

Works well. I recommended this to a friend and installed it for them. Kids love to activate it... I use it to turn my under cabinet lights on. My only change would be the touch sensor... it's a bit big for me. Also, it would be beneficial to have the sensor connected with a flat cable instead of the relatively large wire.

Works when it wants. Lights randomly turn off. Sometimes they won’t turn on at all.

Used this to replace a different touch switch (which burned out) for the undercabinet lights in a bookcase/hutch unit. Previous one had three light levels that changed with each "touch." This one is just "on or off" at whatever brightness the under cabinet bulbs are. Otherwise quality and function are fine. Shipping was prompt. If you use with LED's, just use a low wattage bulb, otherwise, look for one that has dimming capability.
