This is an absolutely beautiful piece, the pictures really don't do it justice. It has a nice weight to it, which leads me to believe that it's good quality is more than surface deep (or superficial). I haven't had a chance to meditate with it yet, but I can tell the beads will feel good in my hands.The only down side, is that I wish the spacing between the silver "wake up" beads were more like a traditional mala. However, they are beautiful and will just require a bit of adapting. Great piece all around.The mala comes in a very nice burlap sack, for protection and safe keeping. :)

Love it!!
I absolutely loooove these prayer beads. They are gorgeous, very durable, the tassel is very pretty. My only critic on this is that the tassel gets tangled and bent very easily. If you put it away on the pouch, when you take it out the tassel would have completely opened and looked very unorganized. Luckily this is a quick fix, if you wet the strings and form them to a more uniform shape they will dry as so.

Pretty
These were a great gift. The stones were very nice and exactly as I expected. The only issue I had was with the tassle, which was bent at some point, and I had to press it under something heavy to fix the thread and remove the awkward shape before I was able to give it as a gift. Other than that, nice quality.

Great quality Mala beads.
Spent hours looking for the perfect pair of Mala beads for my daughter. The lava rocks used are very beautiful, it has a nice weight to it, and the 8mm beads were the perfect size. I have very small wrist, I could wrap it around my wrist 4 times without it being tight. Can only wrap once when being worn around the neck. Not an elastic band, this piece was strung with nylon giving it better durability. Will be purchasing more for my other daughters. Very pleased with the purchase and shipping was right on time.

The guru bead is too fluffy for my taste but overall it's a good product.

Great quality, gorgeous prayer beads!
Beautiful, well crafted prayer beads. Nice link to wear as a necklace. Lava stones are sturdy and gorgeous. The tassel came VERY messy but I simply ran it under water and laid flat to dry, no biggie!

Still beautiful but not what I needed for my meditation
Very missleading. The marker beads are not counted in the 108 so that makes this necklace 113 beads. Still beautiful but not what I needed for my meditation. Very disappointed. I thought it would be 109 for the guru. But the extra four beads are completely unnecessary for my purpose

Sturdy and great texture
When looking for a mala, we should go with what energy of stone/gem we're drawn to. The energy of the lava is really strengthening and lends courage, I believe. I've been using it daily and dragging it everywhere for a few months now and its still intact, good as new.
