However, they are advertised as 1/2 inch. in my book that means 0.5 inches inside diameter. They are closer to 0.43, quite a bit less. i wanted these to hold items around 0.46 inches, and therefore did not fit. How could i rate them higher than a 3; even that is generous. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for thick smoothies! *by K***C on Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2017* These straws are great. I have a little brush straw that I got when I purchased some glass straws on Amazon. So I've washed these and used them a couple of times. They are so sturdy and just the right size for thick smoothies. I hate to throw them away. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Item as advertised *by E***D on Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2019* Item as advertised --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/34753600-jumbo-straws-clear-with-stripe-bubble-tea-straws-8-0](https://www.desertcart.be/products/34753600-jumbo-straws-clear-with-stripe-bubble-tea-straws-8-0) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
