Elle Women's Plain Bamboo Socks -Soft, Breathable & Cooling Knee High Socks 2 Pair Multipack Size 4-8 Colourful Everyday Casual Wear

I have been wearing these Elle Bamboo socks since they first came on the Sock-Shop web-site. They are perfect under leggings on a chilly day and during the winter to keep the cold out. They wash really well, word of warning though, do not tumble dry them. I place mine on an airer over a radiator. I washed 3 pairs yesterday and they were all dry this morning. I much prefer the Elle Branded Knee-High socks, they a deep but comfortable cuff which holds the socks in place all day. If looked after properly, they will last for years. My only problem is the choice of colours, I love them all.

I should start by saying I almost never write reviews - but I need to make an exception here.It probably seems mad to be raving about socks, but these are spectacularly good. I was a bit nervous about them, mostly because I'm slightly on the heavy side and I wondered whether they'd be too tight at the top. But nothing ventured, etc.So they arrived this morning. I tried them on and they fit beautifully. Not tight, but firm enough not to be sliding down every five minutes. They are soft, silky and don't have any rough seams. I bought the white to wear with my trainers, as it turns out they're not bright optical white but rather a nice very pale creamy colour.I'm delighted. Suffice to say I'll be having some more. Probably quite a lot more, in fact.

Good comfortable socks that are warm when you want them to be and let your feet breathe when it’s hot. They stay up as you would expect and very good quality. Elle socks have always been long lasting as well. Can’t fault them.

They feel nice and do not have the dreaded seems across the toes. Unfortunately the tops have tight elastication.The delivery was earlier than anticipated. And I would be even more happy if the socks were sent in some sort of paper or cardboard sleeve.

I wondered how on earth socks could be made from bamboo, but it really does work! These socks fit perfectly (UK 5 / EU 38) with a good bit of stretch around the calf but without being loose. The softness is remarkable and there's no uncomfortable toe seam. I shall be buying more and can thoroughly recommend.

Really comfortable socks, keep their shape after washing and drying, breathable, excellent value.

Generally comfortable to wear. The biggest problem is the feet are way too big with the heel of the sock riding high up the leg.

Very nice socks, would thoroughly recommend.
